If there is a staircase to the Well of Light level, perhaps it’s time to gather the goblins for a fresh scouring… and reclaim the lost artifacts. Or…. Hear me out on this. Why not give the Dragon what it wants? Not the specific items the party has (like the rod), but access to the level, or rather part of it. Do what the Halflings did but better. Limit adventurers to the areas you want - like dealing with undead. Or direct them directly to Well of Light. Anyone entering gets greeted by Goblins, given a drink of whiskey at the shrine. An AV badge, and led to one of the access points to the Well level “where the real treasures of Arden Vul” await - this level was cleared out years ago…”

YES! It is time to watch my favorite weekly episodic show. Can't wait to make some comments I love all 3d6 Down The Line videos! OMG Mike, "How did you know it was me?" What is the shirt Ted is wearing? Trefco the 'doorman'. Matt, "I'll listen at the dam door. I'm not great at it bit what the hell." Proceeds to roll a 1 twice. I suggest you get your dice checked, you have rolled a d6 3 times so far in this episode and each time it rolled 1. Wait a min, who is used to electrical pain? Epic episode.

Good catch on the invisibility ring effects, Jon. I thought that was the case way back when the party found them and was feeling a little gaslit during the last episode.

As always a great episode. I am extremely interested in how Bottleneck and the Goblins along with the AV club think they will be able to allow "passage" down the steps without opening up their area for attack? I am 100% with them that they need to do more exploration of the level (around 21:00 mark the map clearly shows a passageway on the eastern wall of the debouch room that they have never explored. What is in there?). Jon's smirk and reaction to Matt's hypothesis about the stairs the goblins found in the crypts around 29:00 was priceless! While all of the planning and thought exercises may not be everyone's first thought of riveting entertainment, I found the whole episode to thought provoking and enjoyed the back and forth amongst the party. So glad you all have let us watch your table! Please keep it up!

Gotta love David for his shenanigans. It either results in a nothing burger most of the time, or something really cool. Remember the deals you made! I don't want to mention too much, but you have made deals! Maybe make a deal with the dragon? The dragon is arrogant but not a fool. The dragon can kill you but then it will never get its share of treasures or the rod back. Maybe mention that the inn has an access?

Conflict resolution and balancing complexity vs fun pacing with varying player's styles is a huge part of the game. We're here to learn by watching how veterans manage this stuff.
