honestly this game is so much fun and i dont think people realize how important this bot stuff is cuz this is gonna affect the campaign AI too but man the soundtrack the intros in the game the sound of the guns and everything its so amazing

I'M STILL TRAPPED IN THIS UNFATHOMABLY LONG CAMPAIGN

It only has 1(now 2) maps, only bots, not the full arsenal, not the full customization, the game technically doesn't even exist, yet I already spent so many good hours in it. I'm going to have a serious addiction problem when this thing comes out

3 years in the waiting room was actually worth it.

I had a glitched match where it put me on the bot team. Let me tell you, it was fun! This game is going to be amazing.

There’s nothing more nostalgic than the music and atmosphere of halo man! Really takes me back to all the late and sleepless school nights as a kid with no responsibilities and you could just dive headfirst into a games universe and get lost in the best of ways!

Nick is becoming my favorite Halo content creator. I can tell Nick just genuinely loves Halo. His content never feels forced or like he is scraping the bottom of the Halo news barrel to try and squeeze out a clickbait video. He just loves to play Halo. Thanks Nick for a fun time and looking forward to several years of Halo Infinite content from you.

This build is honestly just pure fun, I can’t wait anymore tbh, I haven’t had pure fun in a game for a long time

Still a few noticeable bugs but that’s to be expected during early flighting, love all of it, can’t wait to blast some brutes in campaign

The loading screen brings me back when I was 6 playing halo reach on the xbox 360. And that CLASSIC theme song man got me in the feels

Halo infinite is… amazing… all the time we waiting was WORTH IT MAN IM SO HAPPY

So Halo Infinite allows for player expression with movement as well. There's normal walking, then sprint, slide, clamber, rocket jumping with gravity hammer/repulsor, and thrusters. It's good that thrusters are a swappable ability now and not standard issue. It allows you to use them or turn them off, which is a nice change from Halo 5, where everyone had thrusters. New gen and old gen are crossing over big time in Infinite!

3:30 I've seen this bug on reddit, when two or more people take the spawned weapon at the same, everyone gets it but only one of them will do damage. You got unlucky and you got the skewed firing blank rounds.

After fighting ODST and then the Spartan bots, those derpy bot moments seem to be 100% intentional imitating some low rank behavior, where they get fully disoriented and just end up looking up or down (we've probably all seen this playing with family).

I still remember watching these streams freaking out about my invite not showing up then waiting a good hour for the download to finish. I may have to revisit infinite tomorrow cause of this video. Because most of the changes I noticed are actually quite good.

Weirdest thing. I was watching Paton Oswald's standup at the same time as this video. Okay, I have ADHD, what do you want from me? Anyway, he gets to this moment in the standup where he says "And it's going to be a nightmare!" about his show in Vegas where the whole crowd is drunk. Immediately as he said that line, your nightmare medal popped up. Like, on queue. Then you were like "Oh, that sounds sick! Nightmare..." as if you were responding to him. And I saw all of this in real time just thinking "How the hell am I paying full attention to two videos one two screens at the same time?" and also "How the hell are these two videos matching up so perfectly like the stars aligning!?" and I thought those things at the same time because being ADHD sometimes feels like being two people at the same time. Anyway, nice medal! I'm not quite good enough to have gotten that one during the flight, and I'm impressed.

If you join a game in progress the audio is muffled. Other than that this is the best Halo has felt. That base movement speed is so fast. I love it. This feels like a classic arena shooter.

The only thing that I think that 343 should change is when Nick dies, the camera just stays on the person who killed him, I would like it to be the camera like in Halo 2 through Halo 5. Where you can just look around after you die. Other than that, I’m excited for the game to release!

The commando is WAY WAY harder to use mouse and keyboard than with controller. Aim assist fights the recoil very well but on mouse it's almost unmanageable.

I love how the game is looks amazing but a little bummed out there are no assassinations but hopefully they become a thing in the future

ive played halo since CE and 2, grew up on these games but ive also played many other shooters over the years so to me at least keeping sprint and slide are sick. to me this in terms of gameplay beats out reach, 4, and 5 already. now if the campaign is better than 3’s im set

Dude, the grappling hook definitely changed this games personality for me. Before they released the ODST preview it felt good, but not enough turn me up.
