Excellent! I love Hammer movies. Always have, always will. They were loved by the viewing public, and hated by the critics. If my parents saw the word 'Hammer' in the entertainment pages of our local paper, then they went to the cinema and saw that new movie (or two - Hammer very often released double features), no matter what it was. That's how much of a draw those movies were. A Hammer movie means you are going to have an hour or so of entertaining, often horrid, fun, and come away happy, having spent that time with some old friends, like Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, and Michael Ripper. I've never been scared by a Hammer movie (though the atmosphere of Quatermass II is disturbing), but the only movie that bothered me, was 'Demons Of The Mind' - and that was simply because of it's rather 'incesty' plot. Otherwise, I see Hammer movies as 'Comfort' movies. Great collection, and I have to admit being a bit jealous of that Ingrid Pitt autograph! Thanks for sharing. Nice one. 👍👍👍
