How does it make any sense that Harbaugh gets a 4 year show cause and 1 year suspension for Burgergate? Originally, wasn't the NCAA considering a 6 game suspension for Burgergate, and Michigan ended up doing 3 game suspension to try to appease the NCAA last year... and now they're going with a 4 year show cause and 1 year suspension?? Not that it really matters anymore because he's gone... but imagine if he stayed at Michigan and got this kind of punishment. Ridiculous.

This is the NCAA, as a paper tiger, suspending someone just to attempt to show teeth that fell out years ago. If Jim was still in college ball, he wouldn't get more than a 3 game suspension.

It is funny. It's a joke. Michigan still hasn't shown a consistent pattern of anything or any behavior even remotely egregious, which is what would actually be risky. Jim made contact with recruits in a dead period, is no longer the coach, and some rogue reject scout tried to steal signs without Jim's knowledge and failed miserably at it. The NCAA is basically the administrative version of a keyboard warrior. Talk a big game but they know they have no real influence or power anymore. They will be obsolete and likely dissolved by 2030, if not before.

You beat us on the field after the Stallions thing came out and if any team didn't adjust to securing there signs then that's on them. That team with all the senior's and experience didn't need any help as far as I can see.
I've been saying it and I'll keep saying it. Osu is very afraid of what Michigan is becoming again and that's not to be overlooked. Michigan's recent success is very upsetting to some of their brass behind the scenes. Do not forget how psycho their fanbase and alumni are. They've had such good players the past 20 years by giving their bags of cash. Trust me, no real talented players want to go to Columbus Ohio but they do because they make bank for their families. The university showed this offseason just how easy it has always been for them to get players with money but now it's legal. However, I don't believe any of their methods are truly legal but either way, they are willing to smear their own reputations to win. Things are going to look a lot different come next winter when Day is gone after a fourth loss.
Not afraid at all. Most of it actually like when the game matters and it's good and both teams are at the top of the standings. Makes for the best games and why The Game is the best game in all of College football. We just dont like that you had to cheat to help get back to the top

It turns out when you’re an NCAA lapdog you can do whatever you want with no regulatory consequences whatsoever. Ohio State also was caught sharing intel, aka scouting of future opponents, with other programs. There are also allegations that they downloaded other programs’ practice videos from the Catapult Platform, such that several schools, including Michigan stopped using Catapult. Apparently two senior engineers at Catapult have ties to the Buckeye football program. But hey, when you’re in with the networks and the punditocracy, you can do whatever you want.
