"You don't have to look at the targets." That explains it all.....It really does.

A while back I stated "if ti is in your mind, it is theory, when its in your hands, it's experience". And just like hand trapping and Chi Sao, it becomes a feel, an intuition, automatic.

I do not have any affiliates or know of anyone reliable in Kyusho in Cuba. Also please look for anatomical not acupuncture for Kyusho.

Is Kyusho a separate martial art or just a system to blend with other martial arts.
@EvanPantazi
@EvanPantazi 2 года назад
It is understanding and accessing the opponents weaker anatomy and physiology. It is not a style as it works in all of them.

Evan in your experience, when applying kyushu, do you find very fat people more of a challenge or very muscular people?
@EvanPantazi
@EvanPantazi 5 лет назад
No, but there are differences. Gichen Funakoshi (Shotokan Founder), stated the stronger a man tries to make himself the weaker they become. This translates for a body builder type as those big muscles stretch and weaken the nerves and blood vessels. The more extreme the build the more extreme the vulnerability. Most are walking heart attacks in waiting. The Fat man has undue pressure on organs, blood vessels, nerves etc. in both these cases you must known what is weak... that comes from hands on... but a great topic for a video discussion, thanks... give me a couple of days to reply.

My teacher stated that those with a big belly are more vulnerable on the f ribs (I think spleen alarm, for those who do use pressure points)

You obviously don’t get it, look at any MMA KO and it was Kyusho, but it is way beyond just that or fighting. It’s human anatomy and physiology , I guess way beyond most people’s intellectual scope.

All that probably won't work on an angry person full of adrenaline that wants to smash your face in.
@EvanPantazi
@EvanPantazi 4 года назад
You realize if you are not attacking the weaker anatomical structures, you personally will never reach your full potential. To dismiss or ignore this is a prison of your own making. And by the way if you aim at a nerve target on the head and miss, you still hit them in the head... you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
@Johnhatzijohn
@Johnhatzijohn 4 года назад
@@EvanPantazi I believe that squeezing one in the so called pressure points is not effective. If the human body was so weak under adrenaline boxers would be falling down by getting hit on the bicep. But that doesn't happen.
@EvanPantazi
@EvanPantazi 4 года назад
@@Johnhatzijohn Watch again sir with two distinctions; first and most important, real Kyusho is not "pressure Points" or pain compliance... knowing this difference will help you for the next. Next if you watch the KO's in boxing or mma,you will see the nerves are struck at the correct trajectory, so the real structures of real Kyusho do work... but your eye needs to see it. Many boxers know of these "Sweet Spots" De La Hoya, Ali, Vargas, etc. Squeezing is for grappling, it is what occurs in a rear naked choke, you are squeezing the carotid artery, this is a real Kyusho target. Again I urge you to understand the difference, Kyusho is NOT pressure points, it is real anatomical structures of nerve, blood, organ and reflexive mechanisms. Good luck in your study.

@@EvanPantazi So people just go and learn to throw a proper left hook to the chin instead of all that bs.
@EvanPantazi

@@Johnhatzijohn No as we have seen plenty of hem not work, when you get it right it works, like Chuck Liddel wrote in his book. What is so difficult to train in aiming a left hook?
