Mister Pantazi, I'm really thankful for these kinds of videos. I also appreciate the videos with explanations, but because English is not my first language, sometimes it's a bit hard to follow. I prefer the visual to learn more. I also have several DVDs of yours and I am a real, self-practicing Kyusho fan :-) Keep it up

I appreciate that explanation sir, although I must present many learning modalities. Some are visual learners like yourself, some are tactile and others are more auditory. Thank you and all for your patience in all modalities other than your strong suit. But there still maybe something in another modality that sticks with you... thank you for the comment and of course the support for Kyusho.

No disrespect GM Evan.It should not just say 'improve your karate' should be improve your understanding of your martial art or style you study ;)
@EvanPantazi
@EvanPantazi 5 лет назад
Yes of course sir, however this is a typical Karate move. I believe all Martial Artists should learn about Kyusho... but for Karate people it should be mandatory as you can not fully appreciate the Kata without understanding the core they were built on. That is Kyusho.

OK, nice, but I don't see why it should be any more difficult or unlikely to hit the next or the eyes eith the nukite than hitting anything else with any other technique. It isn't any more difficult than to operate a light switch whilecwaklingtheough a door opening, providing you train it often enough in moving targets and uncooperative training partners (wearing goggles).
@EvanPantazi
@EvanPantazi 3 года назад
Walking pace and fighting pace are far different as well as the eye is exposed, Kyusho targets are not.

@@EvanPantazi Come on... I have been doing this foralmost 40 years just like you. When you can hit someone in the face without any martial arts skill, you can also learn to have enough precision for a high propability of a good fingerjab git to the eyes. The light switch example is just to illustrate fine moror skill in movement that practically everybody is capable of. Wnen you train it in attack simulations with the training partner wearing goggles, and on the moving heavy bag with small targets on it, that you hit a different order each time, it is something you cal learn rather quickly. And the nukite to the neck: You can do it as a dangerous hit. You can also just di it with limited force to create distance to someone who wants to wrestle you. I used that a lot while doing door and security work.
@EvanPantazi
@EvanPantazi 3 года назад
@@linojakobsen7737 Come on, don't even know why you would be arguing about something not even discussed in the film. If you want to argue the deep structures of the neck, well even in Dojo sparring, the opponent tucks their chin, unless they are over confident due to feeling of safety in a safe environment.

Mr. Pantazi, I have concerns about the use of your techniques on your students. It would seem that the situation at 4:00 has happened before in your studio: you apply a technique that, without warning, causes a loss of consciousness or otherwise incapacitates your student or colleague. It appears callous - indeed, exploitative - to apply such a technique on a student or colleague without asking for their explicit, informed consent before the action. Please give reassurance.
