Thanks for a great video. I use Strava together with the polar flow. Other than being a social platform Strava is great to get suggestions for training routes and display my fitness progress. But if I had to choose I would stick to polar flow. The strength of polar flow (that actually few mentions) is that my time in heart rate zones is displayed, not only by workout by workout but also for week, months and years. After a few years you could get a really good image of how you trained, how taxing it was and how it affected your fitness, for exampel your running index or fitness test.

Great Video and thanks for doing this great work. Trying to get the right combination for my needs it has not been easy, but thanks to your video the perfect combination for me is the Apple Ultra and the athlytic app. It gives all the info I need. I did try the whoop 4.0 for 3 days . Did not find it comfortable for me and to much data. :)

Thanks for the video. From my experience HealthFit seems to underestimate the step count plus it always shows different cadence/stride than, say, NRC. Any thoughts?

Love your review, I noticed in your Athlytic App some of the text formatting is off, do you use a larger text size or zoom on your iPhone? Also which iPhone do you have? I'd like to tweak it so it looks better for your use.

That would be great! Thanks so much for commenting - means a lot. And yes - text is inflated but just a bit. Not at maximum but let me check how many steps above and get back to you.

120% set for all apps - had never checked that before. Guess it was higher than I thought

And while I have you - my recovery I think is always from a couple months ago, so my recommended range of exertion is always based on that - is there a way to de-link the two? Guessing not. My sleep analytics are coming through via other devices, but not HRV since I’m not wearing my AW. Any hope of tying in garmin’s in the future? That would give a hella lot of data points to add in for more complete analysis than the AW provides. Thanks again.

@@sabes35 happy to pass any thoughts along, and will email as they come up! Thanks so much for reaching out. I’ll try the links/suggestions too. Thanks again.

Hi, Nice video, can you tell me why my cardio Fitness scale doesnt show up? 16:23 its because is my first weak using the app? (Apple Watch series7)
@fitgearhunter
@fitgearhunter Год назад
Good question! It wouldn't relate to the AW series - yes give it another week and see if it appears, but I'm not altogether sure why it's not now!

Does the HealthFit app have a "guide" at all, to learn how to understand all of its metrics?
@fitgearhunter

There are 'info' sections for each sub-section, but that is all that I am aware of. But I will say that a lot of the 'info' sections are very informative and link to full websites of info

Are these apps for apple only?

That is a great question. I don’t know if offered on the android platform. Sorry!

The anaerobic load percentage in athlytic is just based on time in hr zone 4 and 5. Nothing else. Not very useful. Great app otherwise. Glad they added intensity recently. I would like to understand how I get to a target exertion in advance without having to guess. Eg workout at a low intensity today for 30 minutes to hit 4.5
@fitgearhunter

Agree on the anaerobic load Calc - many get this wrong by arbitrary Association with certain heart rate zones. And I’ve passed your comment along to the developers! That’s a great idea! Thanks for commenting
