Geometry Dash's community has seen many levels that have defied difficulty as we see it today. We've seen Bloodbath and Tartarus, but what happens when a level capable of taking the top spot gets completely swept over?
In this video, we will be covering a special, formerly impossible level, created by a relatively unknown creator all the way back in 2015. This video also covers the journeys of fantastic players as they strive as hard as they can to achieve the absolute best. Hope you enjoy!
This video took me a LONG time to finish. The idea for the project was started on March 25th. Compared to my other projects, this one was quite procrastinated. I would've started a project sooner than that, but I'm a pretty lazy person and decided to instead play video games for a month and a half (and i also admittingly had zero ideas for an engaging project that i wanted to make) but fortunately, I have another video idea which hopefully will get finished eventually. I wonder if there's anyone who could do anything about that..

There’s a whole other side to this level most people don’t know about. It’s not just Sevant’s insane skill and determination but it’s also a story of his growth as a creator. Sevant has been a member in my server for a long time now, I remember the day he first showed his version of satanic clubstep and me being me I said it was really ugly. I’d then give him suggestions on what to do by making examples in the editor for him and he’d then apply it to the level. This went on for years, him showing progress almost every week, me saying it was ugly, suggesting what he should do and then he’d do it. I never imagined me coaching him would lead the level to be this good but here we are I guess, Sevant went from a novice creator who could barely make pulse triggers work to an experienced creator who gave his own unique yet authentic twist on an ancient level. I can honestly say I’ve never truly been proud of someone in my life but when I saw what he had done with the level after he verified it I can say that for the first time, I was proud of someone. It may sound like I’m taking credit for his work deco wise and yes, to an extent I may be. But he placed every block in the level and without his determination it never would have been completed. I’m so glad I could guide someone to make something this impressive and eventhough it’s not my level this will likely still be the legacy I leave behind in this community.

The only reason thinking space got rated was bc of the achievment, this level has both better deco and is a harder achievment. So by logic this should definetely get rated

Diabolic is a level I've heard of and have seen some of, but never really looked into since I was already made aware of Eiruni's Satanic completion and was well aware of that level. I'm impressed by the story and am rooting for Diabolic's eventual rating.

I swear I never heard of it, because I was actually aware that eiruni verified it and at that time 2020-2021 I saw it, and I also got to mention it in one of my community news videos. In the same way I will see this video later because I am sure you will tell his story and it is something that I do not know. Keep up the excellent work Blue!

Massive respect for showing off Diabolic Clubstep, we need it rated a fucking sap bro. But I would like to mention one thing. The dms you showed for me was me telling Sevant about the unnerfed Diabolic but even the verified one that is much easier than the unnerfed might be fucking harder than Unnerfed Innards. I am not even fucking kidding. Sevant is fucking amazing, and his achievement is astounding. To everyone who sees this comment, keep on sending this to mods. If this gets rated, this will be legendary for Sevant and the community as the true first top 1 after Tartarus that no one knew about!!!!!

Im so surprised this lvl didnt get pretty much, if any attention. For a level of that difficulty, it got pretty much no views and when I playing it last a few months ago, it didnt even have 1k downloads and I got the 1st place spot on the leader board with only 5%. Thank you for giving this lvl some exposure tho, it really deserves it

Finally, Sevant is getting some recognition! I followed his progress through the level since he started showcasing it, and i'm very happy to see his efforts getting rewarded after so long. Also thank you for the brief mention! Even though i didn't make impressive progress haha. I had more runs that were never uploaded but i eventually gave up on beating it. Great video, good job :)

I know it's not related to the video, but tbh, I am happy AoD got the recognition it currently has. I knew about this level's existence from it's layout. It was verified, but to this day no one is sure if Neiro hacked or not. Then it just kind of disappeared into nothingness, and was quickly forgotten by everyone. No one tried to beat it because it was considered semi-impossible for a human, but then dils started playing it, and the rest is history... Also I knew about DC's existence :) Great video nonetheless!

@@gmdblue Idk, there are proofs for and against it, for example - Dying to the floor in a wave part. Of course, you can just hold to die to the ceiling, but how can you fake dying to a floor? Make 50 macros? Maybe...

@@x8c8r If we’re talking about the same verification from 2018, the red flags are all over the place. The hardest demon at the time was BL or something, and for someone to “verify” something harder than tartarus back then is absurd. Not to mention lack of clicks, or actual raw footage since streams were probably pre-recorded or something. You just have to think about it logically. There’s probably not any noclip in his video or anything but yeah

We have to get some mods to see this level. It definitely deserves a feature, but maybe not an epic feature. If this level does get rated, I think it should be placed at number 3, harder than Firework, but easier than Sakupen Circles.

Never gonna forget how much we had to discuss in the Unrated Demon List Server on which one was harder between Oblivion and Diabolic Clubstep. In the end we decided to have Diabolic Clubstep be moved above it. Finally, it was #1 after so long...and stayed at that position for about a few minutes because Abyss of Darkness :( It's honestly a surprise seeing how Diabolic Clubstep just rose in difficulty purely by how underrated it was. Couple days before verification, Sevant thought it was Quantum Processing difficulty. But over time after verification, it just kept rising. Top 25, Top 15, Harder than Kenos, Harder than Tartarus, and finally as the true Top 1 up until Slaughterhouse and Firework. It's honestly a shame that none of us fully recognised its difficulty and potential back then, not even Sevant did. And now this and Oblivion have joined many other extremes in unrated limbo.
