You are actually more pron to catching hybrids and stripe and also spotted bass more in the winter time some of the biggest hybrids I’ve caught have been in the dead of winter

we have stripers over here so watchin yall get them hybrids is awsome! my pb striper is 32 inches 15lbs on a inflated night crawler in a back slough! but getting them to take lures is a whole other level ill be on soon enough!

Hey in the river up here in Ohio when I use a jerk bait for smallies and walleye I try to keep my line tight on the pauses,just like a slight pull to keep the line tight so when they tap it less of a chance for them to spit it or shake it befor seting the hook. I think it helps with messing them bites when you pause with a jerk bait.but love the river videos keep up the amazing work love the grind🔥💯

If you're catching hybrids then that means stripers are also there or the hybrids are stocked, as an interbred species between striper and white bass they can't reproduce

I’ve got LMB, Red Fish, rainbow & speckled trout but I can’t get to them… Old lady angler, with no boat. Retired due to in the line injury so I can’t do canoes or kayaks. Maybe I need a pedal boat. 😜

might be a n00b question but why do you dip the lure in the water before you cast?

I've caught more hybrid on big jerk baits and crankbaits rather than the A-rig... and if you think they bight a ton during the day you should take a night trip... if they are biting, it's every cast!
