I started to get weight and few months ago it got critical - I started to have heart palpitations and it seemed like heart attack. Luckily enough I take weight measures each week so I easily identified the junk food as the source problem, which I usually intellectualized as it is nothing to eat sweets, "I don't eat them too much". Without the measurement, I would easily misdiagnose my symptoms as anxiety and panic attack since these are very similar with overweight symptoms. I read that eating junk food makes you feel tired all the time - this is mentioned in the video here - and yep - it is true. I cut completely junk food and these heart symptoms went away. If I didn't know, I would end up with bad medical service here where I live, and I would probably end up with god knows what medications and drug poisons for heart issues.

* Self-diagnosing any addiction, including porn addiction, can be challenging because it often requires an honest and objective assessment of your own behaviors and their impact on your life. Here are some signs that might indicate a problematic relationship with pornography: * Compulsion: Feeling a strong urge to view pornography that feels beyond your control. * Excessive Use: Spending an increasing amount of time watching pornography, often at the expense of other activities or responsibilities. * Neglect: Ignoring work, relationships, or self-care because of pornography use. * Continuation Despite Consequences: Continuing to watch pornography despite negative consequences, such as relationship issues or feelings of shame. * Escalation: Needing more extreme or varied types of pornography to achieve the same level of satisfaction or arousal. * Withdrawal: Experiencing distress, irritability, or mood swings when trying to cut down or stop using pornography. * If you're feeling exhausted and suspect that you might have an addiction to pornography, it's important to seek professional help. A mental health professional can provide a proper assessment and recommend a course of treatment tailored to your needs. Self-diagnosis is a good first step to recognizing a potential problem, but it's not a substitute for professional evaluation.
Remember, it's okay to ask for help, and reaching out is a sign of strength. If you're ready to take that step, consider contacting a therapist who specializes in addiction or a support group where you can share your experiences and gain insights from others facing similar challenges.
Lastly, take care of yourself during this process. Ensure you're getting enough rest, eating well, and engaging in activities that promote your overall well-being. Self-care is crucial when dealing with any form of addiction.
