Luke thankyou for taking the time to wach and subscribe to our channel. Believe me pal its the best vocation in the world. Yes at times it will totally drain you but one the flip side it will make you truly feel like you have helped a family
Your a legend in your own right Mick, the comfort you must bring to families in their darkest hour is truly immeasurable, I have nothing but admiration for you and the difficult job that you perform with may I add true professionalism. Sod the haters, trolls and the plod. Keep up the good work pal.
You should be so proud of yourself and how caring/compassionate you are mate. Any one that tries to bring you down are just jealous that they’re not half the man you are, and hate the fact how well you are doing for yourself. Don’t let them get to you and keep smashing it
Just about to accept a job offer as a funeral operative at a really prestigious funeral directors. I am nervous but feel my personality would be a good fit for this job. Just want to thank you for you video. Brings bit of normality to it, plus had me rolling in laughter haha. Keep inspiring 💪
I cant imagine how hard it must be listening to a person say i want X Y Z (if you get what i mean) at my funeral, i guess we never think of somone arranging their own funeral, awful situation, i can imagine it must weigh heavy on your heart as the funeral director but must bring so much pride to know youll look after that person and carry out final wishes Take care of yourself x

None of us can escape the inevitable, it's as much a part of life as birth is, yet recent generations have hidden it away and made it almost a taboo to talk about. Thank you for sharing your days with us and helping to remove the mystery. We need more good people like you. I can see it takes it's toll on you, mentally and physically - be proud Mick, go easy on yourself, no one person and absorb all that grief. Keep sharing and unloading your thoughts to that little camera, we can help.
I would imagine it becomes more personal meeting somebody prior to their death, knowing their mannerisms & how their voice sounded.. You do a emotionally hard job, Michael.
From Funeral operative, to Funeral Directors, if you have a sincerity of care, it does take it out of you, its the Humanity in us, and the drive to care for others. 👍Biscuits an all.
I live in The US. I love Embalming better than Funeral Director. Here in The US we have to go to Mortuary Science College, take a year Internship, and a National Board. We have to go to college for both Funeral Director and Embalmer.
