YES! Totally! We have managed to avoid it now since May but instead we are lost in our travels and aren't sure what our next step should be! Can't wait for you to get out there again and start making more travel vids!!! Thanks for sharing this!
You're lucky that you have avoided, even though it always lurks around the corner 😉 More travel videos are coming sooner than you'd expect... 🤐 Thanx a lot guys 💚
I really empathise with this man...the same thing happened to me when I came back after two years of travelling haha, it was really, really tough!! I felt like the only people who understood me were those who had gone out there and done it themselves. Well done on this - great video. Keep it going. I actually saw your comment over on Zach Ramelan's latest video about style in storytelling, so I thought I'd come check out some of your stuff :)
I can relate to that, even though I've basically traveled mostly to one country and I haven't lived 1/1000th of the experiences that you had. But being immersed in another culture, even when it's not even that different from your own gives you new perspectives in life and you feel detached from people who just continued to live their lives back home. I think everyone who had an Erasmus or similar exchange programme can relate.
I like the delivery of the message :) But you should give a bit more credit to the writer of the article, because you're quoting about 80% of what she wrote. It's fine that you agree with it, because so did I, but it's not 'inspired by' if it's 80% quoted ;) I can see a lot of effort went in the video, you did great job on the editing!
Thanx a lot! 😊 I do believe I credited the article as much I should though. There is a link on top of the description and a clear written message at the end of the video. I don't understand how much more, could I possibly credit it... And since you are talking numbers, it is 80% of the script that comes from the article. The script is only 25% of the video. There is still 25% directing it, 25% shooting it and 25% editing it. So IMO, it is inspired by the article 😊
Yes, you do credit it, but the actual message, the core of the video, is 80% not yours. So personally I think 'inspired by' is too lose of a term, since you are delivering her message in a different package. But all this can be up for interpretation. It's a good video, so let's leave it at that :)
Math lesson again! 25%(script, which comes from the article)+25%(Directing)+25%(Shooting)+25%(Editing) = Final Video(100%) So my personal work on the Final video is : Directing(25%)+Shooting(25%)+Editing(25%)=75% of the Final Video Also out of the 30 hours I needed to make it, only 1 hour was to copy the script. The rest 29 hours is my own personal work. I don't know where your math is coming from but 75% of this video belongs to me and my effort alone. That is why this video is inspired by the article. Thank you for commenting your opinion though 😊
Año! We missed you! All you say: Amen! You describe it very well, and this video is shareable! Good script, buddy! Hope the travel bug makes you leave again soon and share videos again!
You literally just read out the article with some cinematic stuff thrown in. You should really make that a bit clearer at the beginning and ask for the writer’s permission
I spent almost 30 hours making that video, which is something you clearly don't respect. Out of these 30 hours, I needed only 1 hour to write and "read it". The rest is my own personal work and I don't need to ask anyone's permission. You're free to judge, dislike or hate it. But before pointing out your finger, respect my effort.
