There are actually 2 morphs of the purple harlequin rasbora. the normal kind that you mentioned and the gold head purple harlequin rasbora that i also have. The gold on the head is really shiny against the deep purple. All I can say is wow! They look even more amazing viewed from the top.
I love the long Valisinsria. I finally grew mine long enough to swirl sway from the powerhead! I’m keeping Lambchop Espei but there’s even a smaller similar Hengeli Rasbora that I originally wanted. Great colors on all three when the light catches them. Thx
Yes, I snip the blades at the top with some aquascaping scissors but not all of them, I leave some. It is essential that you don't do it if the plant is struggling. Once they are established, no problem.
