Vielen herzlichen Dank Liam. Ich mache dieses mit den Lippen. Es geht sehr gut, indem ich den Luftstrom gleich halte aber die Lippen schließe und öffne. Das "*richtige *" Vibrato möchte ich definitiv lernen. Danke für dein Klasse Video. Danke, danke.

Hi Liam. Quick question- what’s your tongue position in vibrato? I’ve heard it should be in the bend position. Thank you, my friend!

A very good question, and not something I've thought about before! I think I can get vib with my tongue in a relaxed position but it does seem to give the vib a deeper sound if your tongue is in the bend position.

Thanks for the video Liam, it was very helpful and encouraging and I am working on this now and trying to refine a good sound. I do wonder if I might have a bit of extra trouble with the technique however as i am a paraplegic and do not have the lower stomach muscles to work with which i guess will make control more difficult, will give it my best try though

Great video my freind i started too lern while back then stoped cause life got in way of lot of bad luck but i found from day one of starting too lern that key of A was so much easyer too lern on then c i dont no if its just me or if key of A os easyer too lern on when first starting out only problem is ther no beginner lesson on harp in key of A .

Vibrato is a game changer! The type you choose will depend on the feel of the song and the texture you’re looking to add. 2 types that are used to great effect are: Throat vibrato, and embouchure vibrato. Throat vibrato is that heavy and thick feel, often used in Chicago style blues… embouchure is used in melodic and smoother grooves. Learn them both and you’ll crush any song!

It is indeed. In my experience, the difference is that vibrato isn't achieved in the same manual way with the tongue, but in fact is achieved by pulling from deep down.
