This documentary is not for the weak minded. You have to be wise to benefit from this video. Abroad will give you the money but no meaningful life. Africa will not give you that huge money but good life. As a diaspora invest the money in Africa, go back home grow your businesses, employ the youth. In effect you will make good money and enjoy a good life as well. Am a support worker in abroad going from home to home. You will regret when you bedridden.
This video is spot on.aa a UK born who nows lives in Ghana. The West offers no meaningful life. In winter you are weighed down with hats coats gloves boots heavy blankets central dry heating etc. The food is rubbish and processed. In winter people are locked in their homes like prisoners as the weather is so cold. You earn £200 and your expenses £150. In Ghana I love the weather and fresh organic foods. You are right..no one says good morning to you like Ghana. For me its Health over Wealth
Wow what a masterpiece content this is probably the best l hv ever seen or heard from a Ghanaian youtuber l watch all your videos and ans l enjoy every minute of it keep up the good work Mikey
Nice one Mickey…you’ve produced some very impressive content lately - thought provoking content and expertly edited. You’re not quite the usual African RU-vidr, more of a documentary maker. I can tell from your previous locations - U.K., Germany, Belize that you’re an ex squaddie😄😄. Well done on making a brilliant transition to the other side.
Thank you very much for your kind words. I still work full time and actually want to be a documentary maker one day (the very near future). Still learning. You've observed well. I am still a squadie in the process of transitioning. My family have transitioned already.
@@MickeyAgyei Hope the family have adjusted well to life on the other side. Very best of luck with your transition Mickey, I hope to see your documentaries on the likes of BBC Africa/World soon! I will be rooting for you each step of the way!😄
@@FTT297 They are doing fantastic. Thanks for asking. Thanks very much for your wishes. Maybe not on BBC Africa but on an African version of VICE TV started by myself. That's the dream 😉
The challenges or problems in Africa can be financially breakthrough to the diaspora's. Because you have the capital and exposure frim the west. However you have to live with the challenges or problems in the west for tge rest of your life, like depression, racism, white suprimacy etc. My little advice to the diaspora's, dont ever become a bedridden in abroad. You will regret it.
Well done, sir. You are one of the few who talk sense about the myth of Aburokyire and our motherland. I wish this video had been twice as long. Your analysis of the rotten social system back home will be unwelcome news to some, but keep on telling it as you see it!
Wow Mickey, great content. Keep up the great work. Sometimes when you hire someone trying to help,?they steel from you. Its hard to trust most of them.
If you are young, unemployed, hopeless and an opportunity comes for you to travel, l will say go for it. But, always make sure to keep one eye back home to take advantage of the opportunities out there. If possible, get a capital and relocate back to Africa (Ghana) to start a business as soon as possible so you don’t get stuck in the rat race in the west. In my view, life in Ghana is better than life in the west if one has a stable income for himself and his family. On the other hand, some one will disagree and believe that the west is better. I must say that it’s not easy to relocate back to Ghana after spending almost a decade in the west.
I think people should relocate back to Ghana while young and able not when they are old for retirement. Money will never be enough so with the little one saved move to Africa and start up a business and then grow it with you or else you’ll be stuck in Europe with the excuse of working hard to safe enough money.
As humans, we're insatiable beings in life and until one begins to believe in oneself that it is possible to make it regardless of any geographic challenges, our minds will continue to lay dormant and not rise to any prosperous endeavour. There're many people in Ghana who will still fail if given the free stay in the West and vice versa so it's all about accepting that we are who we think we are and can only become the efforts we put into whatever we're doing today. As always your contents are on point. Big ups.
Thanks very much. Take your time. I've not relocated fully. My wife and kids have. I have some unfinished business in uk. But I will definitely join them.
Great insights, the topic is very nuanced and there are pros and cons with regards to living abroad or staying and working to make a living here...in any case going abroad in itself is not a bad idea but in my opinion I think it will go well with you if you go there to study as there are many educational opportunities to explore, there are a lot of obstacles to overcome if you live here in Ghana, nonetheless there are also an avenue of opportunities here as well
In my opinion, there are more opportunities in the Western countries. Many factors like cronyism, favouritism, poor healthcare system etc make it difficult to survive in Ghana. The government does not support the people much, but the people are expected to do a lot for the country. Racism also exists in the West but one can be emotionally intelligent and manage. Its better than sleeping hungry.
You don't have to ever go hungry in Ghana with all that fertile land. Only Africans who go hungry seek to work for white people's money, instead of work for himself & farm. 100% fact.
I think people should relocate back to Ghana while young and able not when they are old for retirement. Money will never be enough so with the little one saved move to Africa and start up a business and then grow it with you or else you’ll be stuck in Europe with the excuse of working hard to safe enough money.
@@MickeyAgyei I need someone to explain to me what they mean by kids education, what exactly does the education in UK entail? Because as far as I see, many of the immigrants are professionals who are ofcourse educated in Africa or India,
Thank you very. I made a video sharing everything I know about Belize journey. You can watch it through this link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rF1ccbpRTWw.html
It's easy to get a mortgage in the usa just talk to the right people n do the right things be serious I bet you will be sussesful. If you have a house in Ghana, u can't bring it to the usa, but having a house in the usa can easily n easily take it to Ghana within 3month, sure you understand what I mean.
Property is property anywhere. People even buy holiday homes in strange countries. Never listen to naysayers. Owning a home and having a mortgage are two different scenarios 🤣🤣
