I can definitely relate to this video Nanelle, has true and informative the content is all the things the lady said made me laugh so much. I work for the community Nhs Trust and have a good relationship with my manager and she sometimes tells me about some of the carer job applications she receives from oversea applicants that she needed to shortlist honestly they are ridiculous! Thousands of applications, applications from mechanics, barbers as Sophia mentioned lots with no qualifications nothing to prove they meet the job description. Some will attach a letter heading begging for a chance and that they are ready to learn if given the opportunity bla bla it did give me creeps to be honest everyone wants to enter the uk our ppl needs to understand there are criteria these ppl are looking for and it a lot of money the employees are investing. Your content is so relatable good job .
❤️ Weldone guys, thanks Nanelle for this critical questions. I always love watching Sophia when she is in her element. She really scrutinizes situations so well one can mistake her for a lawyer 😊
Thank you Nanelle and Sophia for this eye opening video, i pray that God will help those of us that genuinely have passion and are ready to put our best for the job.
Wow! Great interview, applicants need to know that they must not lie to get themselves to the UK You need to have a passion as a Caregiver to take on such responsibility
Waaa that is good to hear I have NVTI in home care I have worked in Tabitha aged home care I have volunteered in mother and child hospital Currently careing for bed band patient in her residence Do I stand the chance
This is a great interview. Thanks Nanelle. And to you Sophia, thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts and this issues of one not getting a job despite great CV and @ Nanelle, over qualified 😅
Yes girls, there are already people in the UK who are qualified with experiences , skills and knowledge who are really interested in caring... There are really honest qualified people living in the UK who are looking for caring job and cannot get .
She cleared my doubts 👌 there're millions of people already in the UK hunting for the job.. It'll definitely be difficult to choose applicants outside considering the expenses.
The nail on the head..I just enjoy having this kind of information It just saves me so much Thank you very much Nanelle you are one in a million bringing Sophia and some first hand information is a great deal. I do hope I get recruited soonest
Hi Nanelle. If she is having more than 300 people in an hour or so,why is it that this job is still on the shortage list? Taking care of vulnerable people is an interesting job and clearly people (Africans)want to do it.Why is it that most Uk citizens don't do it unless..... This are just some of the questions I ask myself.Very informative channel,Keep it up
Heerrrrrr Nanelle, it's like you know what I want and you deliver 😂.After watching your video last week I was hoping u would be the first to interview a white person, either a British or an Asian, and look here we are, waw. Please bring a Filipino to the channel too wae .
Hi Nanelle, please can you talk about other jobs application for a pharmacy technician in U K and the whole process because rejection is becoming unbearable about these whole carer stuff ...
A legitimate driving licence is essential for care workers living or entering the UK so please make sure to learn driving in your country before applying for a care jobs in UK , USA and Canada........
Good morning...thank you so much for all the contents u've been putting out.pls I'd like to know if there are other ways a doctor can get a job in the uk or other job types for a doctor hoping to relocate to the UK because the plab exams are expensive and takes a longer time
Hello Nanelle..Great video as always. Pls am yet to write my ielts in about a month, but I will like to start with the nmc UK registration process. How do I get the checklist to make sure of the things I need for the process?
Please watch this video HOW TO BECOME A NURSE IN THE UK || OVERSEAS NURSES || UK NURSING REGISTRATION PROCESS IN 2020|| ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GZfaKTcf7Zs.html

@ 25:00 where she touched on references needing to come from a legit company. I think understanding 3rd world systems would be so critical for UK recruiters in that, for example in some islands the public sector actually use free Gmail /Microsoft accounts based on:- access, affordability and lack of technology. Some countries just aren't that developed to afford server space/contracts etc (speaking from experience). I understand some of her points but HR personnel should also be aware of the limitations & benefits ( immigrants are diligent workers) in 3rd world and be realistic in their recruitment
My thought exactly. I work in public hospital and I can tell you for sure that they dont even bother to provide the workers with professional email or even maintain the website properly.
@@ikapisarina354 exactly, 85% of the companies where I'm located don't even have websites or a proper Facebook page. Let alone company email. Imagine persons who worked in these environments all their life. Maybe googling companies to see if they are legit and calling the office line can provide transparency instead of just shutting persons down. Additionally, some countries don't even have the option of volunteer care to offer the training she expects. Her tips seem more like a projection of the frustration with some applicants.
I get you…. My references had personal emails tooo I just got a stamp of the organisation and stamped the reference to make it appear a bit professional.
@@NanelleGriselda yes that's how it's done here. Especially from lecturers they use the letterhead when possible along with the organisation's official stamp. It's why I'm so baffled about the "company" email. There are many ways to verify legitimacy. Also from an islanders perspective, where populations are a few thousand* Smaller than most UK cities* it's only so many companies that invest in hosting/exchange mail services
Hello, Thank you for the lovely video. I have a little issue though. I successfully passed my NHS interview and I was recently emailed that the trust is attending to high volumes of offers and I'll would be contacted soon with my offer letter but pending pre employment check. My previous employers have a professional email but my present employers uses Gmail. I can however get a letter headed paper, signed, stamped and sealed. Please would this be enough to get this offer letter from my NHS employers? Thank you
Dear Harsha and Sophia I am in UK Now I realy wants to talk to one of you please .I have no Idea how I can talk to you.for the moment I am doing a living carer job.need to talk to you urgently. THANK YOU.
Thanks for this informative video. Is there a certain criteria in cos processing? My wife got a job offer, signed it and provide the documents needed however, she got a message yesterday that she was rejected. The reason is because she was holding a Philippine passport. Maybe Sophia can explain and give us an idea about her rejection. Thank you!
@Harsha & Sophia she did inform them right from the start. From her inquiry if they accept overseas applicant. Even in her cv it was stated her current address in saudi arabia and permanent address in the Philippines. I also try to message one of the carehomes which was under by this company and also inform them about her current location and her interest to work in the UK. She got a referal from one of nanelle's guest in her video interview. Also she saw the post of the agency about the hiring and did inquire if they accept overseas applicant. The agency as well as the company knew it and they told her that she will be receiving the cos from them after the job offer.
Hi Nannelle thank you so much for the informative videos you make. I would like to apply for a healthcare scientist job in the UK so, can you please have someone to share some information about it. I've been doing some research on it and I still need some clarity on some things. Thank you.
Please I want to find out when applying for jobs the reference side is a Gmail ok for the email of the reference? Cos I’m confused when they say company email
Thanks Nanelle, please can you enlighten us about this nurse associate tin,cus I heard enrolled nurses can register with nmc uk to practice as nurse associate.thank you
Hi Sophia, thank you for some information about C.Vs.l have a question if l want to come alone l mustn't mention my depends for example if l have kids maybe l will fetch them later after l have settled
If people come in on student visas, when can they switch to Skilled worker visa? I know previously its when you have like 3months left in your studies but unsure if you can switch early?
With all due respect, Sis Nanelle please this Sophia hate Africans. Go to her channel and see how she called Africans "bad eggs". Herself and one Dave openly made it clear they won't recruit Africans. Funny enough none of the RU-vidrs are saying anything.
And also laying much emphasis on applicants lying. She should sound more professional in how she addresses or refers to people 🤔 Name calling is unprofessional and inappropriate! She also sounded as if she's discouraging when she should be encouraging.
@@NanelleGriselda How do I go about? Should I apply direct with NHS? I submitted my application to to a few companies, however I was advised to submit my application to NHS as most companies does not provide visa sponsorship. Appreciate your kind assistance.
Nanelle please do a video for Medical Laboratory Technician/Assistant career pathway (not biomedical scientist) the turn down is becoming frustrating 🙏
