The main thing with channels is, that what really is the value they provide for viewers. Peter McKinnon was making tutorials and teaching something for viewers. Same for Haapoja brothers. Teppo still makes it almost every video. What is the value provided. Teaching? Vlog? Reviews? Street photos? Landscape? If the niche changes video after video, it makes it hard for viewers to keep interest. Make ten videos on subject. Let's say you just decide to photograph your city. You have a base topic where you can attract people from your city. People interested in your city. People interested in photography. People interested in your gear. At least that is how I end up following people. I found one video and saw that there are similar videos, so I kept watching and following.

Yeah the value has to be something that gives you information or entertainment. The thing is that what kind of information can you give that hasn’t been given already and that’s what I meant when I said things were different 10 years ago. There were tutorials, but not in the way as PM or Haapoja brothers did it and they blew the bank by giving the younger generation what they wanted. Even Matti and Peter said a long time ago that they stopped doing tutorials because there wasn’t anything else to give. After that it’s only entertainment and camera gear, and that’s what it is for most photography and video related content creators. I trust in my way of entertaining and style to of video making to pull off in the future. Now making a same style video isn’t bad. Let’s use your example of making videos about photographing your city. It’s an easy topic and ofc people want to see that, but how long can you keep it entertaining? After 10 videos the viewers lose interest because it’s just the same thing and you start to lose interest and start burning out. I think it’s ok to mix it up once in a while and tackle things interest you and see how those videos do. This is a long topic and I’m starting to lose my silver lining here 😂

Another good video timo . Was Helios anamorphic adapted or just the regular one

Just the regular one. I’m on the lookout for an adapter though. I could use something like a SLR magic or a great joy 1.33x with a lot of my lenses, like the Sirui night walkers. First thought about getting siruis adapter too, but it only has a 1.25x squeeze and doesn’t have that character that I want.
