Hey Kyle, I need your help. I followed a Reddit tutorial on boosting your 2015 Golden Retriever, and he's making about 225 paw horsepower on premium kibble. The problems start when he's approaching high speeds as he starts to huff, and I was wondering if this could indicate an air induction issue.
Is he on street paws or slicks? Sounds like he needs a better ventilation system under hard load and high borks. Make sure the BOV isnt sticking either (bork off valve)
Keegan Pock I understand shits gonna happen and all. But look at that weight plate. I can't believe it hasn't flown off only being welded in that one part. Then look at how they mounted the intercooler on Jeremys car in haydens video. And that old shifter. He had a lot of problems shifting and never even thought to look at it.

Kyle it's time to build your h22 head. Port it and have it polished, springs, retainers, valves, cams new intake manifold setup switch over to individual coils. It's time to go REAL FuLL built.

Josh Papineau If he ports it himself all it's one of the cheapest mods around for a good increase in top end. And performance valves and springs isn't that much either. New cam's is the only thing that will break the budget.
Head is not what kyle needs. He needs more seat time and upgraded side shift springs, Detent springs, and he needs to zip tie the shifter cables together so they don't move when shifting at around 8k...ported head Would be good and make some more power with less stress on internals. But it won't make him go faster if he can't fully utilize what he has right now. I wouldn't touch the head if i was kyle. These heads flow well from factory and you can mess them up very easily and do harm from a "backyard port"
A light port and polish would help with top end and you know how Kyle loves too hold it at the rev limiter to keep it in peak power. I would say any minuscule amount gained or weight lossed is better when it comes to racing, hell Honda put mesh shifter boots in a version of the NSX to save the few grams over a leather one!!

Can you PLEASE pit a guard on your turbo now?!? It's been erking me ever since I started watching you. Hose clamp and fishnet would've stopped that....
And i was just thinking at the start of the video that kyles finally starting to do things to a higher standard, proper fuel pump, bigger turbo housing, new gearbox lever and cables then the harness gets sucked into the turbo!!
I at least hope, someday before I'm dead, he puts a turbo guard on there, they literally restrict nothing. But save an engine and a turbocharger. And i guess a good wiring harness in this case...I Just might order a guard off eBay and ship him one!
