What's funny is Shannon Sharpe mentioned this after we lost. When he was on the Broncos in 97, he and a bunch of other starters rested week 17 and then lost to the Jags in the Jags second year of existence. The following year, Mike Shanahan said that Sharpe and all of the starters were not going to rest at all and they won tha Super Bowl. Now, that doesn't mean that's gonna happen for the Ravens next year but it is telling that Harviagh said he wouldn't rest anyone if he could go back or if it came to that decision next year. I've always believed that you don't mess with something that is working extremely well. You are throwing a wrench into a well oiled machine and hoping it doesn't do any damage. Also, allowing two still recovering players to play isn't smart. Andrews could barely jump, which led to the first interception bouncing off his hands. Hurst should have started in his place. Meanwhile, Ingram probably shouldn't have played either. Edwards is good enough to fill in for him but the fact we didn't run our running backs compounded our problems.
