It's more like "I ain't your Mama, asshooollle!" :-D But yes, Splatterhouse 2010 is an underappreciated gem and it needs more love! And a sequel! We *_need_* to find out what happens to Jennifer after Leonora's ghost gets into her! Plus, it would be a great excuse for showcasing a new cavalcade of righteous metal tracks. ^_^
@@BloodyBay we need a whole reboot and then some. Splatterhouse is too much of a gem to slip between the cracks. One of my 3 favorite games as a kid in the 90s were megaman x, mortal kombat II, and the splatterhouse series.
@@deathklok1990 I'll drink to that! Splatterhouse III had its irritating moments, but it was _great_ at telling its story. More Splatterhouse sequels, please. 🙂
Once again I've lost my way Going nowhere fast I dread the return Spend my days in this self-made cage Where my soul can dwell And my loneliness is thriven far to well All and none of the answers I've found Alone I stand on hollow ground Too many years have passed Too much blood has been spilt I realize it's my destiny, my will All and none of the answers I've found Alone I stand on hollow ground Things aren't always what they seem As the scars on my skin will show On hollow ground I stand On hollow ground repent The sins were mine. I'm gone, I know Dazed and weakened by the haze Went nowhere fast I dread the return I've lost my ways Am I losing my mind? Maybe then my redemption's there to find
First heard hollow ground when I was in prison. John Peel played it on his radio show when the album was first released & it just blew me away; one of my favourite records.
I don't know when, but sometime when moving from one apartment to another I lost track of this CD. Like a lot of things... Anyhow, yesterday something got stuck in my head. A guitar cord. I woke up with it in my head and had no idea what the hell it was from. It felt important. I spent almost the whole day at work trying to figure what the fuck it was was and suddenly "haunted" popped into my head. I googled it and found some tv show. No.. that aint right. Dug deeper. Oh god.. there it was. The green album cover. I found myself here right after. Where has this been in my life? I've gone years without this. Listening to it now feels so RIGHT. Goddamn. I bought the album back in '01 or '02 when I was still in highschool. This album beats the pants off most of the shit floating around now. It's so fucking good. I missed you The Haunted. I missed you so much. \m/
I saw these guys a few different times in Chicago. Fun shows. Marcos vocals were always on point. Kinda full circle for Chi as most of these Swedish melodic bands like Macabre too.
Yep hell yeah man. I’m pretty sure that was only in Australia, though I could be wrong. I had it also. What a great compilation. Many sick bands on there. I went on to a lot heavier stuff and influence thanks to compilation cd’s like those ones floating around. 20 odd years ago
Some people enjoy listening to this tune while they work out. I enjoy listening to this tune while dodging furniture thrown at me by gigantic poltergeist manifestations and their psychokinetic whirlwinds. We are not the same. >:)
