Say what you like about the man he can make a call and have 100 big old men, who are dying to be in his favour, knocking on your door within an hour. Any man that can do that is a dangerous man.
@Jeff Weaseldinky If i owned a care home, I'd challenge him to it. Real gangsters he has invited in the past to his new years parties have all refused to go because of his snitching history. He got a circle of retired fellas now. His phones like the yellow pages for grave dodgers.
@@CodonQuixote do leave off the fella is a complete idiot and no one takes him seriously those who are in that world and are proper people just take the piss out of him and treat him like the fool and grass that he is
That's not true Courtney is the head of the London mafia. He's really hard and a complete nutter. I remember him down AWOL back in the early 90s dancing on a podium he used to run tings.
Met Dave courtney and worked for companies he is part of aswell, he’s actually a very respectful person to everyone he meets from the cleaner on the street to the CEO of a big business - no lie
Great content. Some constructive criticism is to many interruptions from ads and subscriber begging whilst the channel is young and growing keep to the content. Add 1 advert and at the end maybe ask for subscribers but it’s very annoying the interruptions. Keep up the great work your smashing it
Great video, Dave was a gent when I met him and spoke to me about bronson for a while. Ironically, I have the same surname as Dave and Charlie noticed this straight away and suggested I go and see Dave. Two legends
When he says he took away some of Bronson’s thunder that hits the nail on the head as to why Bronson has been in prison for so long….its a place where he feels most comfortable and somewhere where he is “someone”….before prison he wasn’t “someone” but yearned to become that “someone”….ultimately its down to his own choice and no one else’s!
If you can’t see the honesty of this guy, and the fact that he’s not fronting to be something he’s not then you’re thick. Rest in peace Dave, a bigger character who had more of an influence in this world than all the haters put together…
Dave has a great story but I think hed be the first to say that A, the is no London mafia, and he was never head of it. Dave should have been a comedian...hed have made a FORTUNE! Guy Ritchie was a sickener. You should have David McMillan on, the madest life story I've EVER heard. It's also never ending and the man is a genius. Great podcast. Dave is a true storyteller and funny man and as sharp as a razor!
“The head of the London mafia” not so sure on that one but Dave understands very well how things go now. Like him or not he is the real deal. Living in the High security unit at bel Marsh isn’t a joke. Some right parents bedroom crisp eaters on here calling him when they’re best thing they ever done was win 50m swimming badge at school. If your under the age of 35 you won’t even know how security used to work . The man’s had his nose eaten ffs
When you're talking abut real deals in London, many come before this man.. What about this "real deal" getting slapped by a bloke half his age, Lee Murray.
@@fireteamuk2865 well if you’re saying a 60 plus year old got slapped by a 30 year old that don’t make sense, there’s nothing good slapping a man who’s knocking on for 65. It’s who you got round you that makes you not you as an individual.
had his nose eaten utter bullshit did he follow the man who munched it with a bag of ice until he shit it out then keep it cold until it was sewn back on you numbskull just another exaggerated porkie pie that brainless sheep like you believe.
Two top boys? Not even close. The Hunts, The Bowers, The adams, The Arifs we’re all miles ahead. Dave Courtney, is a celebrity gangster, not the real deal either.
Dave says he’s not a ‘celebrity gangster’ but he did allow a TV camera crew to follow him about during Bermondsey Boy. Top table criminals would never allow that. No disrespect to Dave, because he does have a good story and he does articulate it well. No doubt he knows/has been around a few top faces, but that doesn’t make him a gangster.
And Dave has never been the leader of London’s mafia. There’s no such thing. Once up a time D. H or T. A could probably hold court, but those days might just be gone now.
@@jamesward1127 Most feared men in England at that time , Roy is a legend mate everything that man went thru he was indestructible. They certainly dont make MEN like that now days .
@@50CAL1 agreed but times have changed. The dynamics have changed. They weren’t really feared by the time Dave was active. People like Bill the Bomb and Rolex Ray had taken over by then.
Well known fact. the corrupt police were under investigation. Courtney and his police haner ttied to set a women up planting drugs so the husband got the kids. They were caught and the police handler got jailed while courney got a out
Great listen, he's a funny guy. I'm at the point where he's talking about them building new prisons because of so many people falling for the gangster dream. It makes me wonder tho ya know, if any of that is actually designs and promoted by elements of the state to keep the prison industrial complex in with a job. Makes me wonder my Mizzy is getting so promoted. I think some people are trying to do genuinely good work to stop people growing up in a life of crime, but I think there's a shadier side that's been going on over 400 years. Good listen tho, he does give a good chuckle.
I don't know D.C. but from what I've seen and read, I'm convinced he wasn't the gangster he claimed to be. But he had obviously been involved in dodgy stuff with dodgy people but that doesn't make you gangster. I think he acted the part, and fair play that's better than going around hurting people etc. He was a funny showman and made a living and had a laugh doing it. RIP. I'm sorry for any people who were hurt by him, I think deep down D.C was probably a good guy.
When you cut through the he says / they say bullshit. I have to say we played #Bongo Bert at one of Dave's Charity Parties at the Castle last year and he was top notch and so humble
Ahhhh hahahahaha the head of the London mafia 🤣, he was and still is known as a notorious police informer ! Yes he was a criminal but give ower Dave you were no godfather 😂😂😂😂
People who say all these stupid things havent got a clue about Dave , he knows everyone and if any of these people who call him a grass go knock on his door if he is in its open to anyone but guess what no one does ,
Dave Courtney should now do his film. If Dave hasn’t got the best stories for a great British film then no one has. Dave’s been at the top so knows all the faces from the 60’s upto today. Come on Dave you have to do this.
Dave is a story teller of the highest regard lol I went to school with his son beau (who is in to the music game now )AT THE HOWARD SCHOOL in Rainham, Gillingham dave always been the same take everything with pinch o f salt ot be 29%true80%exaggerated lol but he'd did have a few doors on the club scene and he wrire couple books that were quite good his films are terrible bit it is sad after he helped with the kray funerals not long after he buried his son m beau's brother very sad day, but dave wo u ld say himself he was never at the top even in his prime no where near it and now uts basically straight h t n has been for yearsb
@@richjames7948 the 29% n 80 was obviously supposed to be 20 n 80 didn't realise people where that stupid to not realise or I would of edited and Beau was in year below as it goes
Winston Churchill on a bit of charlie 😂🙄 seriously tho to be ill and to go out with a bang he was hurting + really wanted to stop the ride to get off ✝️RIP Dave ✝️
RIP dave . met him a few times on the club scene . got on ok with him . BUT no way could you call him head of the London mafia . There are guys much more powerful than him , back then in the 90s
Let him tell the story. Asking questions mid the charlie story was annoying. Just let them talk if there telling you a story. Ask then a question when the story is over. Good apart from that 👌
The most used line is... "Celebrity gangster, the two words dont go together, its like saying Police Intelligence" and at this point he will pause and expect everyone in attendance to laugh at his hilarious joke. Fella is a clown.
It's funny and true about disciplining kids lol. I remember I called my Dad a bastard once and he chased me and I hid in a room for an hour cos he was gonna kill me lol. But my parents were nice kind decent people. They just didn't take nonsense from kids, why would you! I guess we'll just have to see what comes of it. All the over the top cry baby stuff people are getting fed up of it!
Gotta disagree with the cane in school things tho, it wasn't in my day but from what I've heard there were too many nonces misusing the discipline for sick pleasure.
