Traditionally, the best way to measure pressure dynamics in the heart is catheterization, but it’s risky for kids with pulmonary hypertension, and they need it regularly. At Children’s Hospital Colorado, through technology known as 4D MRI, we’re measuring them non-invasively and we’re seeing aspects of heart physiology they’ve never been able to see before.
