Life's ironic twists. She thought she didn't impact people's lives; she did, she wanted people to forget her music; we didn't, she died ghosting everyone and left everyone feeling she had stayed with us. At least she died on her own terms, whether we like it or not.
Kind of, she had plenty of fans back in the time... It's not about popularity, it's because how people interact... Maybe she would be really happy because nowadays people can see nice comments online that really show how it impacts people, but it's not like she wasn't pretty popular back in the day.
"Stay with me" and "Plastic Love" have done more for City Pop than any song has ever done for any other genre. It's too bad she didn't get to see this resurgence 😢
Well her family stated that they caught her humming her favourite songs during her decline. Cancer hit her that hard that she almost destroyed everything about her music career, but never stopped loving it regardless.
@@sayedanafisatabassum2162Dang, you have nothing better to do with your life than to comment under every post like this that YOU think is "InCoRrEcT InFoRmAtIoN", huh? Wow, what a hero you are. 🙄
@@jasonvargas7564cmon bro, I get you’re tryna have a little laugh. But screwing up her last name multiple times on purpose gets a little old. Grow up just a lil bit eh?
This short just reminded me life is too short to be depressed over past and what could had been. Hope she did live her last moments at least doing one of the things she wished she had done because was busy touring.
I always feel bad for “stars” who have basically one or two main hits (that are actually sad, like this song) - and have to live their _entire lives_ resinging, reliving that mistake…that sadness 💔 What a double edged sword 😔
I hope Miki was able to find peace in heaven. Even though she will never know how much she has contributed to the music industry in Japan, and how many people she has helped with her work, she will still remain a bright ray in the hearts of her devoted listeners. We must not forget the masterpiece that she has repeatedly created with her own hands and voice. We have to remember what REAL MUSIC is. Fate played a cruel joke on Miki, taking her life, but what fate could not take away was a piece of Miki herself, her music. No matter who you ask, "the voice of a musician that you will never forget," everyone will answer "Stay with me." And this is an unconditional victory. 💔 Miki would be happy..
What is wrong with you? I guess you know nothing about the world huh. Japanese people don't believe in God or heaven. They're either Shinto or Buddhist. I swear people are so ignorant. Why are you trying to push your ideology onto a country that doesn't want anything to do with it?
Why are you pushing your religion on a people who do not believe in God and hope they are in Heaven. They don't believe in your god and want nothing to do with your religion. I don't see your way of thinking. When you die do you want Muslims to send you to Jahannam? I assume not because you want nothing to do with their religion. @@G4-sj1re
I made a very good friend this year. She was exchange student from Japan and stayed in my country for about a year. We said goodbye about a month ago. We used to sing this song together when we did karaoke and anytime I hear it it reminds me of her. I miss her a lot. ❤️
This song always felt profoundly sad to me, even with the upbeat music. It felt like when you’re devastated, experiencing something absolutely soul crushing and you’re desperate. But due to life/circumstances you have to smile through the pain and tears, even though you’re dying inside. Ugh ❤️
This is why we truly love our Asian woman. They r the best. Even she has all this glamour life she knows herself that love of a family husband n child it’s all anyone can ever wanted
She passed away the year and month I was born, man that was so long ago it feels like when I was born and I've just found out about her from this short, my nan passed from the same thing and I hope she rests in peace she may not think she's had an impact but every singer or music maker has an impact on future generations in some way for music amd how it changes the future of music I hope she rests peaceful and hopefully she's looking down from the skies and seeing how her music did have an impact
"Only after death we can find out how much a person truly impacted the world and it's people, but the person who dies never gets to see that part of the story"
Just like anyone else who has to work a lot to provide. We sacrifice time with family to take care of them and make sure they have what they need/want. In the end, it's not about you.
Very unfortunate, I remember learning about her and her life a few years ago through a Batman meme. Beautiful song but it is unfortunate that she didn't realize how much many people out there loved her and her beautiful voice myself included.
Glad you brought that up.. I might not be the best at reading emotions. But her eyes in the first 4 seconds looked of complete despair.. Straight up broke my heart.
@@mrj6162many parents know her tbh,I knew her music, especially this song since my dad kept playing it when I was a child. So seeing it come back as a trend was oddly…weird, because one moment I listen to it in school nobody says a thing and suddenly overnight ppl said that I was a music trend follower…😅
Its kind of poetic. A song about someone walking out on their loved ones turned out to be the step in her career that pulled her further from her loved ones
