I remember them making a lot of poor moves in that game haha

Hey Ron, thank you for pausing the map at that key juncture and explaining your decision process. That totally made sense why you went right to setup the crossfire. A lot of other videos by other players simply do not pause the fight at key junctures and explain the decidion making process as though they think we already understand the concept already. As an IT guy who sometines trains students that is called The Selection Effect. Another technique I am learning from you is switching to torps to gauge which way a ship is moving and how fast when you cannot see them due to island cover. These are the kind of nuggets that set your content apart from the other contributors. I am a BB Main slowly dipping my toes into the cruiser waters, and while I am not getting above 50-90k. But thanks to your videos I am starting to stay alive longer, and making smarter decisions.
I hate that it’s meant to be a torp boat but I can’t bring myself to sell it. I watched a guy get 5 kills, almost a 6th and 2600 base on a pretty crappy game this morning. Maybe it’s my commander, idk
@@G19JeeperNothing to do with your commander, things just worked out for that person in that particular game whenever playing torpedo dds your not going to connect every game unfortunately, Recommend learning the gunboats they can control the pace of a game far better
@@agux0 I know, I much prefer gunboats, in fact, the only torp specific ship I have is the Somers and I set it up to be able to hold my own when knife fighting. I hate the passive style of torp boats, particularly since I can’t rely on teammates to help kill DDs
I agree I always try to know the map when I use battleships cause if you position in the wrong area you're going burn baby burn you also have to know when to push and not to push there's a lot of factors when playing battleships just like when you play destroyers and cruiser if you get burned down are get caught in sonar and get shredded by secondaries then you are doing something wrong I will almit it is petty frustrating when you are on a team that dies in the first 3 minutes are have a idiot in a Minotaur that goes charging in and gets vaporized by 16 15 inch gun's
