I’m lost because who tf did commanders beat?! Uh the giants the Browns and cardinals.. got clapped by bucs by 20+.. and if y’all can’t take the ravens defense your not doing nothing better vs our defense.
@@graydontron1718Daniels has been great. It's OK to say that. It takes nothing away from CW to say that. Your vicious rabid TRIBALISM is ridiculous. Calm down. 😂😂
I love how you bring up the "Bad team argument" like, It's an UNPROVEN Rookie QB, and if The Rookie QB's are beating the bad teams, they are PROVING that they know how play good against teams they SHOULD be beating🤷♂
I love the progress Caleb Williams continues to make. Smart plays, big plays, steady drives, love it! The road is only going to get tougher but as Ric Flair used to say, “To be the man, you gotta beat the man!”
Why do they keep hammering c Williams for only playing easy teams. I don't recall J Daniels playing anyone good until recently Ravens in which they lost.
Caleb runs to throw like Russell Wilso, Big Ben & Patrick mahomes. Colin making generalizations without knowing who he’s talking about. Caleb doesn’t want to run.
There's nothing to say about the NFC North teams, until we start beating up each other. We're in the toughest division, nothing gets set until we're in divisional games.
It'll be interesting. As a Packer fan, I think we split with the Lions and Vikings, but take both games from the Bears (we just always play well against Chicago, so no disrespect). I looked at the Packers schedule today, and if they manage to beat the Texans next week, the remaining games outside of divisional games are all exceedingly winnable. If my division predictions hold, even if they lose next week to the Texans, they very well could still be a 12-5 team. I had them losing the SF game before the season began, but not anymore.
@@platoniczombie agree but I think the soft early schedule has been great for the Bears to build an identity on offense and for CW to get the jitters out. If they played anyone in their division the first few weeks it would have been ugly
They can't help who is on their schedule. And they're doing what a good team is supposed to do to a bad team: dominating and destroying them. Not merely eking out a win. 🐻⬇️
Caleb, if you seen his eyes, he #moved Safety and Cornerbacks around or to the side to make his team players OPEN !!! Not many #Rookie quarterbacks can do this until their 2nd or 3rd year in the systems.
“The Bears are just beating bad teams” Shouldn’t a GOOD team beat the brakes off bad teams? That’s what the Bears have been doing. To me, this is a good Bears team. They’re doing what good teams do. They’re clapping the cheeks of the Jags & Panthers.
@@dirtyduck10 exactly. If the Bears struggled to win these games, or even somehow lost 1 or both of these games, then all anyone would be saying is how Caleb’s a bust and the Bears are a bad team. But the Bears showed up & dropped bombs on the Panthers & Jags. To me… that’s proof that this is a good team. Good teams dominate bad teams.
@@midwestkrazy83turner50 aye, that’s what happened these past 2 weeks. Bears showed up and pulled their opponents’ pants down and had a Diddy party lol
For the Bears, the real games start in the 2nd half of the season. It's almost all division games. Quietly, they're in the toughest division in the NFL.
@@VjidfyjgtXhiifdhh Sorry I have no interest in bashing a young man that gave the Bears everything he had. I'm with you in him doing good in Pittsburgh and happy to see it!
I mean, yes Ryan Poles did spend money on the offense, but I think Ryan Poles is just being good about spending his money wisely. Let’s not forget he just gave a big contract to a great edge rusher. He just gave a massive contract to one of the best cornerbacks in the league. He just gave a big contract to a good linebacker and then he’s filling the other positions with rookie contracts and undervalued free agents like Kevin Byard just casually signing for 7.5 million and being the third rated safety on PFF or TJ Edwards for 6.5 million was top 10 in tackles last year.
@@midwestkrazy83turner50 he has been traded for Keenan which is basically spending money cuz his contract, he paid swift, gave DJ Moore and Cole kmet contracts, traded for Ryan bates and signed Coleman Shelton. Really id say he needs to splash some cash on the offensive line but he has been consistently improving and spending money on offense
One of the things that stood out to me is when they speed everything up. It seemed like Caleb settled down and the offense took off. He seemed like he was more in his element and the game was at his speed.
Frfr now he wanna hop back own like the rest of the clowns that was calling him a bust in just his second game when the oc and offense as a while didn't have it all together yet fse
This is the performances and consistency I wanted to see from Caleb. I got attacked for expecting him to do this. I don't understand why it was such a bad thing to want him to do this. I love what I am seeing. I wasn't impressed by flashes. I wanted to see how he responded after an interception, after a bad game. Everyone is now liking what he is showing. Would they have preferred this Caleb or week 1 & 2 Caleb? The answer is week 5 & 6 Caleb. So all the people that were getting upset for saying he needed to be better, this is what better is. I am glad Caleb is showing he is a capable QB.
I'm a bears fan living in Chicago, they look good, but the test begins when they start to play these division games, I don't see them even going 3-3 against the division, we can't beat the Packers, I see a split with Minnesota, but I don't see them beating Detroit and GB twice, they play Washington after the bye, we gonna see who the Bears really are in 2 weeks
@wyoTR3NT I'll truly be happy if we can beat them in GB, hell I'll throw a party if we win both games, I honestly can't even remember the last time the Bears swept the Packers
@Chibears1523 right now the division is 17-5, nobody played each other in the division yet..I don't think so at least, but when they do start division play it's gonna fire, i'd be shocked if a team wins 4 or more division games...the black and blue division is back!!!
18 is him & he’s only gonna keep getting better. Like you have to think we haven’t even seen the super flash plays that made him the number 1 pick. Once those start hitting look tf out.
Shane Waldron has definitely improved since the meeting with the offensive captains. The Bears are beating bad teams, but you can see the improvement in Williams since the first three games. Some of that is the offensive line not being stressed as much as they were those first three games, but some of it is Williams getting more comfortable. They will have a difficult time in the division, especially with the Vikings being way better than anyone expected. They need a least one more good draft to upgrade the trenches to challenge the other teams in the division. I believe in Poles, I believe in Williams, and I'm starting to believe in Flus & Waldron. Hopefully the Bears will learn if Amegadjie can be an upgrade to Braxton Jones at LT by the end of this season. Then upgrade the interior offensive line in the draft and FA. Darnell Wright's play seems to be slipping this season, probably because of the disfunction around him. He's the only Bears starting OL that should be back next season. Nate Davis will be cut, and Tevin Jenkins and Coleman Shelton won't be resigned. Braxton Jones will be the backup swing tackle. Poles will also need to draft a replacement for Keenan Allen at slot WR, and a free safety successor for Kevin Byard.
It’s one thing to beat these bad teams. But it’s another thing to beat the brakes out of these bad teams. Bears are figuring it out and coming together. Just keep winning yall. #beardown
For people who say “the jags are so bad tho”: The line was +1 for the bears right before kickoff. I’m assuming by your statement, you hammered the bears spread? On DK, 40% of people took jags on the spread and 36% took jags moneyline, a considerable amount of betters. So it seems like peoples money before the game was not where their mouth is after. It’s either people did not expect the bears to be this good, or people did not expect the jags to be so bad. I would say it’s POSSIBLE that the bears are a good football team that made a bad football team look very bad.
The only issue I have is Colin in the passed has claimed the good teams should be thumping the bad ones it’s part of what makes you a good team you win the games you should.
2 weeks ago the saints were super bowl contenders and caleb was a sure fire bust. NFL is week to week man I'm not sure how these people still havent figured this out.
Just got to get into the playoffs, hopefully the The bears can a Trey Hendrickson or Quentin Nelson at the trade deadline. Don’t be shocked if they make a play for Micah Parsons or Maxx Crosby. Ryan Poles is cooking!!
Makes no sense to me why bringing up the bad team point because you play the teams that are on your schedule! The Bears certainly didn’t make the schedule the NFL did they can’t get mad because they’re beating the teams that’s on the schedule. And how they never use that same argument against Jayden & the Commanders because all the teams they beat was garbage too!
Man Colin sometimes you just need to shut up brother I swear after a certain age these analytics start to go senile …stop taking shit then hoping back on the bandwagon
Bottom line, coaching staff did Caleb no favors first three games. If you know, you know. Everything changed when the offensive players including Caleb called an offensive meeting with the OC.
The only team in the North to put away good teams at this point is Minnesota so why no mention of Lions and Packers beating bad teams? BTW 14 of the 17 games played against the NFC North are all the same teams.
How many Justin Fields lovers would take him back over Caleb Williams now? Justin's in his 4th year and still can't move through his progressions. He is still just a one dimensional runner and not a qb. If the Steelers stick with Justin, the formula will be defense and Justin "field goal" Fields. Even yesterday the TD's were him running. They will be outed in the first round of the playoffs because they do not have a qb to carry the team. I am glad to say the Bears do have a guy that takes charge, leads, and can be a top tier qb. I was a Bears fan frustrated with Fields lack of qb skills and am sorry for the Steelers fans that will be frustrated that Fields is not a good qb. The Bears actually could have a better record right now if the starters played and prepared in the preseason for the regular season. That's on the shitty head coach. And, using your starting TE for long snaps is down right stupid. Again, that is on the shitty head coach.
The whole “bad defenses” thing is bullshit, spouted by fans, and those who never played. The 32nd ranked defense in the NFL, is better than the best defense in college, by orders of magnitude. In fact, the 32nd ranked defense in the NFL, is much closer to the 1st ranked defense, than the best college defense, is to the 32nd ranked NFL defense.
they aren't just beating bad teams the bears are dismantling the bad teams. If they beat the jags or panthers 17-20 that wouldn't mean anything instead they score 5 times and crush their souls lmao.
Wasn't he just talking about the coaching and if they had the right guy? "Chicago doesn't have an offensive coach" blah blah blah? Mark my words if we win, then it will always be Caleb the Great, but as soon as we lose it's Caleb Williams is not that good, and his coaching sucks!
Rookie beating the shit out of teams .What does that say about the vets hes beating ? A rookie shouldnt be doing that to vets.Thats how you know this kid is going to be great.6 games in his carrer and hes scrathching the surface
Fse bears split with Vikings last year and nobody is scared of Donald he is the same old player apply pressure and he will make mistakes which bears are number one in the league at takeaways btw and should have swept lions and they just lost hutch for the season so I know that defense won't be the same the only competition is and always have been the packers lbs won't be a cake walk but damn sure won't be one sided like it has been over the past years bears will be ready but keep hating and doubting bears feed off of that lbs 😂😂😂
The last four games they’ve played against defenses ranked 18th, 29th, 31st, and 32nd. When he’s played a legitimate team/defense he looked lost. Let him play well against a legitimate team before crowning him. Remember, Daniel Jones got a massive contract due to the Vikings 32nd ranked defense in 2022.
That was also his 2nd game in the league and there wasn't any run game to aid him. Shane Waldron still didn't know how to utilize his offense at all. This looks like a completely different player and just overall offensive unit compared to week 2.
I hear this argument a lot and also in favor of the teams Washington played. how are you deciding what the number 1 defense is? What ranking? There are many different like rushing yards against, passing yards against, interceptions, scoring defense which is just points against, sacks, total yards against, etc...i looked at the "rankings" for total yards and 4 of them are 31, 30, 29 and 28th. The other 2 are 1st and 3rd. That's total yards which doesn't exactly tell the entire truth. The titans are 1. They beat the titans with defense. The texans are 3. They had the ball with 3 min left and could have won down by 6. The first few games were bad because of how the OC approached the games. Once the players heald a meeting with him, everything changed. It's the throws he is making. The run is opening up the passing game. It's more than just the bears are beating bad teams. There is a reason and everything came together now. It's what happened with the lions 2 years ago. They were bad the first half of the year then it just clicked and they've been winning ever since. It happens that way. Just accept it.
@@SeraphSlater I completely understand that, but, we have to take into account that these defenses are a cake walk for NFL offenses. It’s a good way to build confidence for a young rookie QB, I won’t buy it until he plays well against good competition.
@@Johnny5Scratcher Detroit got it together and started beating good teams. We won’t know much about the Bears and Williams until they start playing better defenses and teams. The Rams, Panthers, and Jags have pathetic defenses. Teams typically look good against them. There’s a reason teams average 28 ppg against the Rams, 30 against the Jags, and 33 against the Panthers.
@@Chunkyb514go be negative somewhere else!!! Idk who ur team is? But it isn't The Bears and you just looking for reasons to down Caleb. There's a lot of Teams smacking bad defenses around and nobody bothering them? So pls go find something constructive to do.
