Is everyone forgetting the Texans game⁉️Against a fully healthy Texans team on both sides of the ball with our offense playing like crap we only gave up 19 points and had a chance to win at the end of the game. Doubt our offense sure, but we have a top 5 defense that will keep us in any game. They haven’t given up 22 points since last year! 11 games! The Bears are a good team. It’s just figuring out how good…
relax Joe Bob... the Bears will win the Division... i said 3 months ago the Bears will go 13-4 this year... and if Poles pulls off the unthinkable and trades for Myles Garrett??? its Super Bowl time... MY Bears will NOT be denied...
Not even 22. They haven’t given up 21 points in 12 games. Last time was the blown game in Detroit last year where we were up 12. This team is closer than people think.
They have the best defense in the NFC.. #5 rite now overall.. we will win more games than these ppl think! Our Defense will not let these teams score more than 20 we will split with the division.. maybe beat Detroit twice!! 🐻 👇
@@terrancecox8114 umm yea they do...u must ain't realized they ain't played good teams.... 🤦🏾When u start playing goff and love and good teams u better have better than ok pass rush 🤦🏾🤦🏾
I listen to all these guys talk like its going to be so tough to beat the teams in their division but if I’m not mistaken the only team they lost twice to in division is Green Bay they split with the Vikings and Detroit and actually should have beaten Detroit both times but they blew a 12 point lead in 3 mins at Detroit!! So I don’t get all the talk about the teams like they dominated the beats last year and that wasn’t close to being a fact
Have fun living in the past . You can’t base anything off what happened last year . Different teams different schemes . The bears will get shit on by Washington, packers , lions and Vikings .
Why is it every team the bears play there’s always either oh they didn’t play anybody or they’re playing the best team ever and it’s going to be to be the toughest test the face!! God it’s so annoying
The 2nd half of the season for the Bears is brutal, but last year the defense kept them in most games. Losing many by 1 score. The defense is even better this year, so I expect them to be in most games. If the offense continues to improve, I like our chances.
Why does everyone forget the bears/lions games last year. Am I the only one who remembers the bears handling Detroit both games? Yea the lost one, but they really should have swept Detroit. They had the lions number both games, And that was without Caleb Williams or Keenan Allen helping their offense. I can’t be the one thinking the Bears will split with Detroit this year and might even sweep them.
Everyone seems to forget that the bears outscored the lions in their two games against each other last year. And yes the lions are better, but so are the bears. They can definitely go .500 in the division
That’s what I’ve been saying people are under the assumption that the Bears are just gonna get stomped in every divisional game. If it was last year, I would agree, but the Bears have a better quarterback than last year as well with better offensive pieces. They can definitely go 500 in the division.
true say we enter week 11 6-3 with a high possibility of being 7-2, even if we end up going 4-4 those last games that is still a really good year for a rookie QB
@@JWLSportsyou completely missed the point. The critique on Caleb is the Bears haven’t beaten anyone. The teams might not be great, but that doesn’t mean their secondaries suck. Case in point. The Commanders haven’t gone up against a secondary like the Bears this season. We’ll see how they do this weekend.
No I did not miss the point as I have talked about this at length in many many many videos. Looking at Caleb as a rookie vs bad defenses I do not consider the defense. I'm rating Caleb on his growth and production no matter the defense is. When evaluating the Bears as a whole, as a team, considering who they are playing makes 100% perfect sense.
The funniest part about this take, is the same thing someone said about us playing Baltimore. They're #1 ranked Run Defense and WSH is a running team. Baltimore is also 32nd in Pass D, yet WSH put up 260 yards and 2 TDs.. Bears Played #1 Defense Titans (Week 1) but Titans are also ranked 32nd offense. There are caveats to both. Did you know the Browns have the 2nd ranked RedZone offense??? And the Browns are terrible... The critique has been that Caleb has Looked like a Rookie from the start (i.e. 90 yards passing game and 5 picks on the season). Jayden, just hasn't.. That's not up for debate.. Through his first 3 games, he had 80% completion.. Through 4 it was 76%... This includes week 1 against the Bucs. Week 2 against a division rival. That offense had not punted for 10 quarters. He's only thrown 2 picks. Washington beat the breaks off the bad teams. and was competitive against Two time MVP Lamar and AFC championship team Ravens. Cincinati has a bad Defense, but WSH put up 38 points in order to beat Joe Burrow.. On the road in Primetime.. there's so much intangibles that Bears fans refuse to accept.
I agree, but this is not step 1. Step 1 was last year getting a great defense. This is step 2. Next year and the year after are when the bears are really contenders.
Shows me his expectations are Super Bowl aspirations for the Bears. 10-7 would be an improvement over last year, but the Bears still need to do much more to win a Super Bowl
As far as the schedule goes, my first thought was, it’s the calm before the storm. This schedule allows Caleb get valuable experience before our tough division. Particularly Green Bay … FGB! Bear fans I challenge you to think outside the box. The coaching staff can’t continue to get out coached. I got faith in our players. Claws up 🐻⬇️
I heard a great line from Bill Bellichek this week, “it’s not who you play but when you play them.” Anything can happen between now and when we start our divisional games. Right now I believe the bears are a different team than they were when they played the Texans and if they stay healthy, they could even be a different team by the time we start to match up with our friends in the north. My only thoughts against Colin is that I don’t really know how much Jayden Daniels impacts the bears offense. Is he saying that he believe Jayden Daniels will be able to beat the bears defense?
Why is everyone making this about Caleb vs Daniels. It’s Caleb vs Washington defense, which is not that good. All the Chicago Bears care about is that W, no matter who’s the quarterback. Come on Bear fans! Stay focus. Claws up 🐻⬇️!
It feels like the bears have to start 7-2. The last stretch is brutal but even worse, the end of the schedule, that stretch at minnesota, vs detroit, and vs seattle. That's a 3 game in 10 day stretch at the very end of the season where teams are gonna be deep in the injuries.
The Bears defense has not given up 20 points all season. This might be the best defense in the league. I’m not worried about the division he’ll go 500 and make the playoffs.
so if a rookie QB takes his team to the play off, what dose that mean? troy aikman did"t do it but kyle orton did. he took the bears to the play offs as a rookie.
The Bears are one Edge rusher away from being the NFLs best defense. If they stay healthy and Caleb can continue to improve, the Bears can win the NFC North. Schedule did the Bears a favor by giving Caleb 9 games to get his rhythm before the gauntlet starts. And San Fran and Seattle are looking beatable.
As a Bears fan I am not afraid of Detroit. They’ve never ever kicked our ass. Even last year we gave away a game against them. Not saying we are gonna sweep them but if they’re the best we will beat them at least once and the Vikings too. Idk about the packers. More worried about them if anything.
While the other teams like GB and Det have more experienced QBs and Min is well coached. But I’d say it’s fair to say the Bears have the best overall Defense of those teams. That can help Caleb along a lot more.
That Colts loss will play big moving forward. I agree with Cowherd. I see this team going 2-1 from weeks 8-11 and from there need to go .500 the rest of the way. The defense will keep this team in games even if the offense takes its growing pains.
This is what is screwing the Bears they are always “at Houston, at San Fran” …and then these teams are “at GB, at Minn” Complete set up for those teams
Even going 2-4 in the division, the Bears have a good chance of being 10-7 (assuming loss to SF.) but last year, with a worse team, the Bears beat down the Lions twice... Only lost by a 2 minute miracle by the Lions.. the Bears should have been 10-7 last year as they held big leads in the 4th qtr... Broncos, Lions, Browns games last year. If this is improved, 10-7 should be the bar.
‘Can they go 7-2, sure but let’s say they go 6-3 if Jason Daniels plays..’ Like Jason Daniels is going to surgically dissect the defense and Caleb will only be able to complete a pass if Daniels is out. C’mon.. when did Daniels become a SB MVP during the last six weeks? Shlog through the division with a lot of at’s.. dude it’s the division, there are just as many home games. Williams doesn’t need to ‘ball out’. He has a good team around him, Caleb just needs to be Caleb.
I’m confused, what makes you think the Bears will lose to Washington because if Jaden Daniel plays? Bears have a great defense. Washington does not have a great defense and you mean to tell me that they’re going to be the Bears with that defense? Come on man!
Bears win. Rather, Jayden plays or not. Redskins havent faced this caliber pf defense all year long. Jadyen is impressive, but there's levels to this. We'll see Sunday.
We have a good Chance at beating Cardinals, Patriots, Seahawks, San Fran. We have a decent Shot at beating Washington. Putting us at 9 wins. DETROIT IS A GREAT TEAM. But if we can expose there 21st ranked defense (CBs/DBs) we can possibly win one against them!!! Putting us at ten wins. That’s IF everything goes right
Why is it every team the bears play there’s always either oh they didn’t play anybody or they’re playing the best team ever and it’s going to be to be the toughest test the face!! God it’s so annoying if they win these next three games and go 7 and 2 will the narrative still be oh well they haven’t played anybody their divisions is so tough they won’t beat any of the teams in the divisions which they did last year with a worse roster than they have now… make it make sense
Because Daniels is the current media darling even tho they haven’t faced anyone with a defense near as good as ours. Goal posts get moved as soon as it involves the Bears.
Why do people talk about our schedule like it's some sort of 9th level of Hell? Bears ALWAYS play the North tough. Vikings not for real, Lions split easy, and Packers we'll see. All these division matchups are toss ups especially since every team is great.
I think there is something fundamentally wrong with what he said he talked about all of the @ but of all of the teams, the Bears have the best home record they have to come to Soldier Field also
Everybody That makes comments seems to have not watched any of the games, The bears play versus their division last year. They have the lions beat twice. But reality is one win. Green bay knew the plays before the bears snapped the Is ball. The vikings were very competitive games also. That only leaves the bears and a great position to perform well versus any of those teams with the defense being improved from last year.
Colin is wrong as always….. as a bears fan of 20 years let me tell you we are not in year 1 of the lions rebuild (good example he used but still dumb take) we are in year 3 in the lions rebuild 1) first year tank get ride old players get draft picks and draft young 90 dead cap that year only won 2 games 2) got solid pick up players free agent draft more solid free agent players but still 30 mill dead cap won 7 games 3) what we are currently watching is year 3 and just how everyone wanted the lions to fire their coach after missing the playoffs the prior year they stuck to their team and kept building and drafting young talent while bringing in more free agents players 10 million in dead cap Remember all those dead cap contracts were not made by our new gm but by our old gm who kept pushing back contracts ….. those who think Green Bay, lions and Viking going to score a lot on the bears defense clearly didn’t see them play us we are 12 games with keeping the opposing team under 20 points scores that’s including our whole division …..
I really don't understand what people are seeing in the Bears, they could have won 9 games last year they beat the mighty Detroit lions once and should have beaten them twice, this team is better not worse, why are you picking them apart for a team like the packers, the Bears can pickoff Love just like any other team, there just football players, makes no sense to me.
That was last year bro snap outta that 💩 , we could say we beat both Detroit & Minnesota last year we had 7 wins last year, we at 4 already yall be lookin at the wrong 💩 we talkin about the same damn Detroit & Minnesota they had they chances to separate they self from us we right back in the thick of this 💩 NFC North always been about 🐻 & Green Bay let’s not forget don’t let this lil success fool you how many division titles do they have again 1 knock it tf offf talm bout you don’t see what people are seeing in the bears is you BLIND??? You need 👓 dude it Green Bay better than I thought but if you think Jared Goff & Sam Darnokd better than Caleb Williams today slap the 💩 outta yoself
I’m not scared of the Vikings I’m not scared of the Lions we beat them both last year Green Bay has our number but that’s why Caleb is here to change that!🦾🧸⬇️
