I am truly enjoying your channel. I’m an older woman. 62 to be exact. My husband and myself traveled quite a bit, having to have been a military family. But with With kids. What I would tell my 18 year old self. Get married. Travel as a couple to establish the very important connection between your Union. Your beloved full beloved other. Knock the socks off your life. That was deep what the man said about families in that tribe making less than 10k per family and not being "poor" but just don't have a lot of money. They refused money and stood for their culture. I wish the Black Community could embody that same ideology. We would be lightyears ahead if we could renew our mindset as a community.
The remedy for the black community is simple. Stop voting for democrats and listening to white liberals tell us we can't achieve anything because of the system being rigged against us. Immigrants come here from all over the world and become successful in one or 2 generations. The excuses have to stop.
My husband and I went to both monuments as well! We are travel nurses and we drive all around the country! Slim you are right you just have to get up and do it then make adjustments later.

Most of the land was stolen by the europeans. Fun fact. Watching cowboys and Indians as kids and everybody Rooting for the cowboys. It's a shame what they told us on tv. The Indians were fighting the cowboys to protect their land.😔

As a kid back in the 1990s, I saw this movie Richie Rich starring McCaulay Culkin where in that film there is a fictional mountain called Mount Richmore engraving the faces of the Rich family. That's when I then came to know the existence of Mount Rushmore. You just included that scene and it brings me memories.

Wait a minute it took 14 years from 1927 to 1941 to do four faces but from 1948 till now the native american is not complete and will take further 30 years to finish specially with today's technology 🤔 I wonder why
I think I can do a 60 hour road trip since I used to ride along with my fiancé while he drove over the road and I did ok even though I was pregnant. Granted having a bed in your ride makes a big difference I would imagine. 😅
