Video subject aside, it's so impressive how they managed to give so much expression to the dragonborn. You can feel the personality of each one from their faces without even hearing their voices.
And yet my half orc berserker sounds like a british chap who just got out of library, with every voice. But we can customize dicks and get lore for everything no matter how minor it is. But different voice for orcs, dwarves and such, is where they draw the line.
At least for Dragonborn it makes sense. Lore-wise they're supposed to be pretty rare to find. Prior to the planeshift incident they were almost unheard-of.
Im doing a red dragonborn burocrat (noble/thief) run and tbh acting like a horder and stabbing people in the back while spitting fire is FUN specialy as it just fits my character 😂😂
lore-wise, dragonborns are immensely rare, firstly because they used to live in their own plane (Abeir) and they usually live in clans, rather than being lonesome characters, due to their past enslavement by Dragons.
I have not found a way at all but I have seen a video where the Butler is upset about you not killing which means there is a way I just can't figure it out and no one seems to know except for that person who uploaded that video and won't tell anyone
That particular butler line happens later when you dont *continue* to kill, but i do think alphira/quil are just about the only true unavoidable kill, and even then you have the meta choice between the two @hideakiakio6698
Doesn't have to be dead! You can knock her out to save her, so this will let durge durge without loosing the save all the tieflings achievement (or just because you feel bad).
@@sideofnoodles3932 It's not just one random tiefling guy either. There's a whole hierarchy of tieflings in the camp that will replace Zevlor if he happens to be dead. And if somehow ALL of them are dead (very possible with bad rolls on Tactician or higher if you go through with the big goblin battle) THEN a random tiefling just appears out of nowhere and says something to the tune of "Hey I was gone...wtf happened!?"
I can’t help but imagine the NPCs watching you knocking out that poor bard over and over and over; and meanwhile the Dragonborn bard is just dreading her role knowing the DM is about to waver her on stage after the proper ingame roll is made
Don't forget that Alfira can actually join your camp if she's alive and you're playing Dark Urge! She has a lot of funny dialogue, and her being the only Bard follower makes her so much cooler!
Turning invisible after a kill is just so OP. I had everyone straight GUN IT for Cazador and Astarion was last alive by the end of next turn. I had Astarion get a kill then end turn and all I can say is that it may have taken a while but I was happy it was over.
@@itisnot7671 thats my point its not rewarding its giving u characters who you dont see without durge when durge is about murder hoboing everything and keeping maybe ab evil companion or 2 meaning these npcs show up on a playthru where youd most likely not notice as u slaughter ur way thru masses they would be better suited to be on all playthrus w dif ways to find them where they would be more useful its a bit of a weird choice by larian in that way but idk thats just my take
Well that’s the point of Durge, it’s meant to be played on your other play throughs not your first, but to new players it’s not meant for them to know what happens, which makes it fun or more so adds that shock factor to the game so you’re not expecting the same outcome everytime
You can also ask the Dragonborn Bard down in Nine Finger’s hideout if she knows any songs by Quil. She’ll say something to the effect of “of course I do, but baldurians pay top coin for BALDURIAN songs, now move”
I know you're probably joking, but for anyone who wonders, no, two different characters, the dragonborn is a backup in case the tiefling is dead or knocked out
That's Alfira. The default bard girl that shows for you to kill on your durge play. Dragonborn one (this one) appears if Alfira is killed in your play already/knocked out, so she is "replacement" for the camp durge scene.
Why did I get this scene on my first playthrough as a TAV? I was so confused. Learning now, it was meant for durge, but I only had one durge, and Alfira was there. Weird.
Am I the only one who suspects she was sent by Bhaalists? And that she’s actually lured that last fella into being abducted by the cult? Weird how she only appears for Dark Urge playtrough.
What happens if you knock her out or if you kill your Durge after she arrives? For the first one I imagine she still dies but what in the Hells happens if you're dead?!?
Calling her a follower isn’t correct in any way, seeing as she can never actually follow you and she can’t be found after this interaction (only talking about the Dragonborn not Alfira, she can be found later points but still not a follower)
HELP, I've only had Quill appear instead of Alfira once out of 20 Durge runs. Most times if I knock out Alfira I just don't get the cutscene at all that night.
If this character ONLY appears during a Dark Urge playthrough then it isn't a hidden companion most people miss. Because this character isn't even available in a normal playthrough.
Fun fact I killed the first bard then killed the Urge She showed up at our camp but wasn’t killed cause the urge was dead(We didn’t have the money to revive due to dumb decisions)
Wow! What an interesting character! I'm glad that she got to join up with a group of heroes and live her best life. I think I'll start up a new save and experience all her great adventures for myself.
