Moody is Dependable and Solid he has a lower sealing than Kuminga but more steady than him. He doesn’t make mistakes and his floor is higher than Kuminga’s. If Dubs win it all this year it will be because of CP3, Moody and Kuminga. They won’t carry the team but their roles are incredibly crucial. I’m calling it now they will have the top spot as the best defense in the league at least once this year. And the overall team will have the best +/- than the whole league for the entire year…they will really start separating themselves 1/2 way through the season.
He played minutes against AD in preseason that were very solid. But I agree that he needs more time against starting big across the league. Draymond and Loon have an amazing student to mold in TJD.
I think I am one of the few people who were instantly happy and excited to hear warriors traded for CP3 over JP. His presence, experience and attitude is absolutely elite, even though he's older now. He understands the game so well and loves to play defence, changing the entire dynamic of the team's stability with such a shift in defensive prowess and ball security/Turnovers from JP to CP3. Poole thinks he's curry and wants to be him, while CP3 knows who he is, what his strengths are and wants to win and make the team better, which he always does, regardless of his team.
His presence, experience and attitude are even MORE elite, specifically because he's older now. A younger version might have issues coming off the bench, but after being passed around the league and undervalued by every single team he's catapulted into contention? I think he's more than happy to be roasting benches with hungry young upstarts. His impact on this team is going to be felt for years to come.
Steph feels so much more free and happy when the second unit not only manages to hold on to a lead or not lose ground, but even gain ground! Then he comes back, unbothered, and can feel free to shoot whatever shot he wants, because THERE ARE NO BAD SHOTS for this alien. ❤👏 Well done, Mr. Dunleavy!
CP3 is immediately the 2nd most reliable for Steph to make plays ( besides Dray). Klay has become I don't know and Wiggs - always feels like he's disconnected, just visiting.
It's awfully early in the season. A lot can happen... But this version of the Dubs is nearly everything I had hoped for. Kuminga and Moody look comfortable and elite. If they can continue on this trajectory, all-star honors are conceivable. CP3 is doing CP3. He's still a point God, elevating his teammates and getting buckets. Draymond is doing Draymond. He elevates his teammates, too - and he's still a dangerous defender. I love what he brings to the Dubs. Wiggins is showing flashes. We know what that means. He'll settle in, make the right plays, and return to the all star he really is as he burns off the rust. Klay is sharpening up his performance. Still possessing the best, most consistent shot mechanics in NBA history, he'll shake off the summer rust, too. Looney is still quietly one of the best big men in the league, facilitating, banging, rebounding, adding some buckets. GP2 is all the way back. You want a salary bargain? There are none better. Cuts, dunks, catch-and-shoot, assisting, stealing, blocking, he's everywhere, making the right plays. TJD? Nobody drafted that low performs this well as a rookie. Nobody except TJD. He has already demonstrated his career will be long and storied. Steph gonna Steph. He's unguardable. What he did to Brooks and the Rockets will be highlights viewed for the next century. Is it Rockets or Rickets? After last night, I'm unsure. Deep bench. Elite starters. Clutch shooting. Absent injuries, if they can get turnovers under control, I think CP3 may collect his first ring, finally. It's about time!
@@dvdv8197 Him and Draymond were both running away with DPOY and MVP. There was no one catching behind them at that time. Also, that team would've won 60+ games that year
I was never really worried about the fit, just whether CP3 and by extension our other older players can stay healthy through the long 82 games season + in season tournament. I have no doubt this team will contend for championships if we can remain healthy up to the playoffs.
I always make it to the end of your videos mate, that stat about Dray, is insane. He is insane infact, his whole self, as a player and as a character, absolute genius. We need him, and the only reason of two why we lost against the suns was of his absense. But hey, here he is and here we are, rockin' n rollin' strong in the new 2023/24 season. Lets keep this form up, and make this if not the best and most dominant basketball season ever! With winning Finals Game 7 this time around 🙏💙💛💙💛
Yep. Last season was handled so wrong by the owners, and it affected especially the young players. It was like watching a family go through DOMESTIC VIOLENCE BUT NEVER GET THERAPY. EVERYONE HAD TO SUCK IT UP. TOTAL DYSFUNCTION. SORRY JOE, IT WAS TOTALLY UNHEALTHY. And then Wiggs with his bad handling of his problems...had no passion for the fans or the team. He became Minnesota Wiggs again. Hope thats over with.
I don’t know why people are so surprised. Chris Paul is arguably the best NBA player of all time that has never won a championship. At his age he is still a better basketball player than Bradley Beal EVER WAS. Also when it comes to Trayce Jackson-Davis, the dude had the highest Box Plus Minus in the entirety of college basketball last year. The Warriors are an analytics powerhouse, light years ahead of the rest of the NBA.
If you ever played basketball you would know CP3 is the greatest point guard to ever play his assist turn over ratio is insane and he has 20,800 points and curry has 2,900 points in his career curry is 35 while CP3 is 38 only 3 seasons different lol and over 11k assist curry is nowhere near that number.. cp3 steals and defense has always been good and the iq to go along.. also cp3 started the 2 for 1 last minutes clutch points he has too good and is gonna expose why he is better than him
Dates for when the Warriors won their third road game: 2022-2023: December 18th 2023-2024: October 30th The Warriors aren’t BACK back (I wanna hold off cuz it’s only 4 games) but they’re definitely showing last season was the extreme outlier
Paul out there feels very similar to when Livingston was out there in the second unit. An almost automatic mid range jumper and consistent defensive effort. Only Chris is a much better pick and roll threat and a better three point shooter so probably overall better! If only CP was Shaun's size haha.
You missed the steph looking up smiling at brooks image, ala Luka/booker playoffs. Priceless. I am ecstatic at how the warriors have improved their roster. Their starting unit was elite last year it was their bench that let them down so badly which you mentioned. Now their bench is one of the best in the league, which only makes things easier on the starting unit. I am loving the young guys development! Don't forget how a "washed" CP3 wiped the young OKC thunder into a respectable first round playoff team single handedly. Now he gets to mentor JK, Moody, TJD, and Pods! Then you have the other ridiculously amazing examples of Steph, Klay, Dray, Loon, Wiggins, and GP2. Come on! You have some of the most professional vets in the league and some of the best young talent in the league too! I have high hopes for this crew!!
I'm a little bit confused that you haven't mentioned Saric close to at all. I mean he ist truly doing an amazing job so far and also taking A LOT of workload of Loones shoulders.
Yes TJD seems to be playing bigger than he is at 6'9". I agree. I think we need to put him out there and see what he can do. The rebounds blocks and scoring numbers he had in college were awesome. He might not get to those numbers, at least not for awhile but he is still going to put up numbers that will be better than what we did last year.
My brother PLEASE put a 24 second shot clock at the end of your videos telling people to subscribe and like. You tell people to like at the last second and then as I’m going to look at the video and then I gotta go back. I’m too lazy for that! I’m telling you put a 24 second shot clock image in the corner at the end of your videos it would be fire!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The gravity is crazy.... they are a million miles away defensively so I'm just speaking to offense.... but.... What MJ was to the game inside the 3ptline offensively, Steph Curry is to the 3pt line and outside.
Man, I’m seeing a lot of great ideas about how to get you more likes and subscriptions!😂😂😂😂 I love your videos, man I just want you to blow up more . Hopefully, five comments will get your attention.
Wasn't all that hidden imo, been saying for MONTHS now the CP 3 trade is brilliant and their rookies are 🔥. And then there's the Chef. As long as he's healthy (especially come playoffs), the sky truly is their limit! 😊❤
When I tell you I hated the trade at first.. I didn't like CP3 and now he's one of my favorite players bro😂😂 hard to believe. This dude is single handedly carrying our bench unit and I feel so confident in this team compared to last year, im so happy that we added him and I definitely respect CP3 now a lot and I believe that my Warriors will do some great things this sesaon, imagine what we will look like when Chris starts sinking his threes too🔥🔥
Okay those defensive stats you posted were really telling. Small sample size for this year, but poole and jamaychal did not get it done on defense all year last season.
Watching Cp3 on the warriors makes me understand but still mad at the fact that they blocked his trade to the lakers .. dude literally changed the whole team for the better
5:15 "…like a clown in front of millions of people." The kicker, of course, is Brooks got played like that in front of _his home court, and the hometown crowd even cheered Steph_ Btw, no sympathy from me. Don't really like the guy on or off the court.
Just going to see if the warriors keep it up but they already have won 3 straight and are 3-0 on the road overall it's already an improvement overall from that aspect.🏀
The funny thing is, that when this bench gets glued up and starts running a ful capacity they will have a bench capable of beating half of starting 5 in the league💀💀💀
And here I thought the Pels were ready this year. They really needed Ingram last night. Not saying they would have won, but they wouldn't have gotten roasted all 2nd half. The Warriors pattern remains the same, though. If you're not up by 10 at the half, you're getting cooked. Sheeesh!
Don’t be fooled by the warriors. They’re just keeping it low but they’re gonna blow everybody in the playoffs and repeat what they did in 2022! They don’t focus on the size but rather on maximizing their talent and stephen curry will be this years MVP! All stellar performance for this past few games with above 50% FG shooting! And by the way, dray, klay and wiggs is not yet showing up their full potential this season. Watch them blaze in the playoffs! Hahaha! Lets go grab the 5th chip! #dynasty🔥
Bro I love the enthusiasm. What I love more is GS is under the radar. Let the Suns, Clippers, Bucks, Celtics and Lakers get all the attention. What do you think GS will do against Denver in a series? Thats the only spot I see where its going to be a war.
Is it a requirement that GOOD players in NBA should be young rookies? In this case, Gen Z? Seeing a lot of this on a lot of NBA-milking channels... like, experience is not directly proportional to better understanding of the game... phew!
