Anusha Karki '24, a sociology major from Elmont, N.Y., will be traveling to the Philippines, United Arab Emirates, Cyprus, and Australia to support her research project titled "The Hidden Help: Migrant Domestic Workers' Experiences."
Watsons are highly competitive and prestigious fellowships awarded to graduating seniors from 41 partner institutions. As a Watson fellow, students receive a $36,000 stipend to pursue “a year of independent, purposeful exploration” abroad.
