very well explained, though not for everyone ... in another movie a moment ago I wrote, so I'll try to write something else that would not duplicate myself ... here is a lot about "pushing", I closed the tab with the previous movie, so in short I will add that the most important thing is the weight from the bottom up and in judo) ... the next part of the video is about loosening ... and this is a very important part ... for browsing various sources look for materials on how to make the muscles work like tendons ... when you learn this in the first version you will be able to effortlessly to keep a lot of strength ... the second topic is to use larger muscle groups, not the arm muscles directly ...

Indeed, there is a lot more going on here than you can get across in a short clip. You make good points.

How did he put his "intention" at the end of the stick? What's the science behind it? Surely he can't be breaking the laws of physics?
@user-xj3qb1fz7m
@user-xj3qb1fz7m 2 месяца назад
Placing your attention at the end of the stick requires you to be grounded and connected through your whole body. This allows you to then apply your attention to the end of the stick.

@@user-xj3qb1fz7m Thanks Tony - your always so helpful and kind enough to reply despite your seniority. Once you put your intention at the end of the stick - am I right that your subconscious mind more or less does the magic itself? I'm sure there some sort of science behind it but for all intends and purposes the body is more capable than we think it is?

He says "first form, second form" etc. What is his background?
@AIKIDOSILVERDALE
@AIKIDOSILVERDALE 7 месяцев назад
Same as mine - basically iwama but via the Institute of Aikido (Haydn Foster sensei) in the UK. when Noro came over from france in the 60's his translator describes aihamni and gyaku hanmi etc as "1st form attack, 2nd form of attack" and it kinda stuck within that organization, but we also still use the japanese terms.
@FruityRonster

@@AIKIDOSILVERDALE we use those terms in Ki Aikido clubs in the UK. I thought we might be alone in that.
@Clarity2020Australia

thats because Ken (Williams) was originally from the Hut dojo, my old dojo, where Aikido started in the UK, so was exposed to the same teachers!@@FruityRonster

Yep, Ken and his brother David were the first two students of kenshiro abbe sensei, later joined by Haydn Foster (my sensei) Derek eastman, Andy Allen and a few others. Abbe sensei gave them all shodan, Nakazono nidan and I beleive noro sensei third dan.@@FruityRonster
