One look at that old black honeycomb with drywall on it and I thought, "well Mr Ed ain't gonna be taking a bite out of that!" Yet, you did lol. It's that irresistible!
Couldn't help but notice some really old beautiful lumber in that old houses framing, It's a shame there aren't enough people out there getting in these houses before the full destruction to try and save some of that old growth lumber you just can't find anymore... Glad the owner thought to save the bees. Great video you two... even if Wreck it Ralf couldn't make it. lol
One of the first things I do when I go on a removal that the house is being torn down is to scope out the lumber. I've been salvaging old timbers for more than 40 years and have built a lot of beautiful furniture from it. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed

I've had honey from Golden rod / ragweed It's a light yellow and very sweet and medicinal I take it to help me with seasonal allergies I put some in my Tea or teaspoon straight and my nose doesn't run with seasons changing. It's better than taking pills. Love your video's love you guys and it's good to see your faces. God Bless.

I was down your way 2 weeks ago. Went to the abbey, got shortbread chocolate dipped cookies, monk soap, and 2 jars of Mr. Ed's honey. Drove out to the woodworking shop but didn't see you around anywhere. Pretty place though.

I got to thinking, back in the late 80's I went out to a 2 car garage that the house we lived in shared with the people up stairs. The guy had the front half of his car inside and was installing a car radio . The garage didn't seem to be in any type of bad shape, other then maybe a paint job. I heard what sounded like someone pouring fine gravel across the top of the roof. I told him to get in his car and get out . An overwhelming feeling just came over me to get him out and as he backed out and I walked out next to his car the garage fell sideways to the ground. So I guess I am saying that house was in way worse shape and glad to see it didn't collapse while you was in there. I always say God puts people in place to where he needs them to be in the moment they need to be there .once again great video even though I have now watched this one twice.

Great video, I think I have chosen right on the Bee channels I have decided to watch, or rather the Lord helped me to find your channels. Started with Randy at 628 Dirt Rooster and thorough his found your captivating laughter and joy then caught an interview Frederick Dunn did of Randy on his channel. I think I have my bases covered if I chose to pull the trigger after nearly getting into beekeeping back in 1999. Obviously joining a local bee club is also important, area climates are different and the handful of meetings I went to in '99 showed me that compared to beekeeping down south. Mr. Ed, you and Goodtime Charly are a treasure to watch. Thanks for sharing, don't get mad or take it wrong if I give you a hard time about preferring Randy's better method of construction minded cut outs. I've now gotten back to 8 years' worth of his videos, he's in my blood!

The goldenrod we have here in SE Ohio is very smelly while the bees process it. I thought the smell must be coming from my compost bins at first then I realized. I apologized to my neighbors and one said she had been searching her car for her son’s sports gear!
Our goldenrod has a very strong smell as well, but after it is harvested and allowed to breath for a week or so, the smell diminishes drastically. Great comment Angela, thanks for sharing the story. God's peace. Mr. Ed
Doing disaster clean up in Fort Myers Florida. Many wild hives down. They are not happy bees. Angry STILL. I have seen at least 15 downed hives, and I am at work, I cannot get them😭😭😭😭😭

As happy as I’am for you, my heart sinks for the owners. The damage the flood’s did to what they once called home. Even though they may not have come in here or owner was able to laugh along. I’am sure his heart was breaking at the same time, looking at the damage where obviously must’ve made many memories once upon a time. At least you got something out of it, kind of the owners. I hope they are ok & doing well in all aspects in life & financially too. Another great video 🙌

That is some dark, dense comb Must be made from "Tiger" bees. I have fields of goldenrod near my walking path. The field just hummms with happy bees. Great video Jeff.
The bees love the goldenrod, but I think it's because it's the main flower that's blooming. Oh yea, I like the way goldenrod honey tastes, but most find it a bit to strong. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed

You are very fortunate you did not cut one of those wires you would died. Anyone trying to save you would have died. This is why anyone watching you do this will think it was ok they will die. You should put a warning on this. If you don’t think I am correct call your power company.
There was no power to the building, it had been turned off for over 8 months. Because I knew this before hand, I had no fear of being electrocuted if I cut a wire.
