I wouldn't say a sinkhole filled with a vast array of Tropical plants from all around the world gives you the feeling of "Old Florida" lol. That area would have looked very different in the early days of being "developed", mostly scraggly pines and grasses. St, Pete was very prone to wild fires back in the day.
