I apologize for any mistake I may make, but I can't understand why people ask this question. I mean, my question is just the opposite: WHY WOULD ANYONE EVEN EXPECT GOD TO BE VISIBLE?? Why would anyone think that the Creator of the Universe is might be seen?? Can you see the air? Can you see electricity? Can you see radioactivity waves?? Why does anyone even come across the idea that God is like any of His creation?? That sounds crazy to me...

There is no contradiction with core teachings of Quran and core teachings from other religions. The only difference is created by false perceptions. There is absolutely no room for debate, logical thinking, reasoning etc. in Islam. Otherwise the consequences are fatal. Whereas, in Bharatvarsh philosophies were flourished for thousands of years. I am puzzled in Dr Shabirs comment about Gods reason for remaining hidden....so instead of creating a society where there was no sin and peace on earth the decision was made to remain hidden just to see who is going to break the rules. But God already knows everything....? So what is the point?
so does the teacher when he/she tests a weak student, as you see if there was to be no test because of god's or the teacher's knowledge the failed ones among us or the weak student in this analogy could have made objection because of absence of a proof.
The test isn't for God, but for us. He knows the future, the present and the path at the same time and he knows what would happen if we chose option B or C. Earth is not for having a sinless and angelic society, this life is only temporary. However I would also point out that if Allah showed himself (ignoring that this would hurt us) many would either insist this is an illusion and others would draw images of God. You only have to look at Hindus to see the truth in this.
The quality of relationship between human and the One God is upheld by the absenteeism of God from the senses including any tools and extension of the senses (like technology or science). If this is violated, the quality and value of this unique relationship will simply be nullify. As the One God can simply prescribe anything into existence, human relationship with the One God cannot be the same with the relationship between human and anything within the subset of his/her tangible reality (such as real estates, cars, money, people, hobbies, pets and so forth). The relationship value is necessarily upheld through the 'veil of tangible reality' where the One God is absence from the senses. I am glad that Dr. Shabir tried his best to elaborate this point towards the end of the interview.

I have my own theory about this. If you ever read about the size of Allah, then you would know that the observable universe is very very small compared to him like a mere atom (perhaps). He is actually there, it's just because he is sooooooooo big, it seems to us that he is nowhere, but he's there.
He was jealous of Adam, and that jealousy turned into rivalry then hate and then defiance to acknowledge Adam, hence he says "I am better than Him, you created me from fire and him with clay", so he takes a racist approach to denounce Adam's position of honour by his action to not bow him, even when commanded by God. Satan didn't disobeyed God because He doesn't know God's existence, He disobeyed because he knew the potential of human knowledge that God gifted Adam and yet denied it. Kafir means to hide truth, and satan hid his feelings of envy and hate and disobeyed God by becoming arrogant. And God knows best.

The reason why I'm asking this is because I watched a video previously on let the qurans speak about why we cant see God and one of the reasons was that if we could see him then no one would be able to Sin. We'll why was satan able to sin when he knew god was all powerful and he existed
@@abdulmryhan4668 Well Angels and jinn can't explicitly see God, but their way of communication is different than us, in which they know God exist better than we do, as they were free to travel the heavens before. But when, Quran was revealed they[jinn] were all locked down on earth never to go beyond and explore space again. And Gabriel can only go to a certain place, and also cannot fully see God. But they will be able to when the universe will be recreated.

In other words we didn't just come out of our mother's womb and we said we belong to this religion but as we grew up we became to believe the same religion that they belong to. Anything that we can see is confined to a particular space and time. God is not confined to time and space. Anything that is not confined to time and space cannot be seen by the human eyes.

God is vastly evident, therefore we cannot see him, moreover God is الظاهر whose beauty and perfection have been manifested in the creation, whatever we can see by our naked eyes is a sign of God's existence, otherwise who can say where all these things came into being? Also God is الباطن means the inward or hidden, namely God is within the universe and from within his light has been manifested in the form of matter. Our physical eyes are only able to see matter or the three dimensional world, while our inner or spiritual eyes can see God if the dust or fog of sins get cleared by sincere worships ziker, thinking, prayer, Tasbih... and serving people just for the happiness of God without expectations from people even a thank you, then God will show himself to us. Unfortunately, our spiritual eyes are blinded by sins and heedlessness. If you don't believe in the spiritual eyes, read the verses of the Quran that God mentions the senses of the soul, as his almighty says" they have eyes that they cannot see, they have ears that they cannot hear and they have hearts that cannot understand, they are like animals even worse than that " while we have eyes and ears and hearts and we can see, hear and understand, then what are these senses that the Quran speaks about? That is our souls senses. By which we will be able to see invisible things.

If God were to show himself physically in his true image to us , i swear NO ONE in this planet will ever reject him,NEVER!!!..but his plan is not to be visible in our sight and vision so he can test us within our own intelligence as to whether if we want to worship him as the true god or believing in false gods.....think wisely! To some extent, the soul that God blew into Adam especially was from Him, it contained the knowledge of words in it, so when Adam stood up he spoke words, in whatever language God taught Him, and that was the beginning of language and intellect itself. We also say that brain is the most blessed organ as that was the first part that came alive. The remaining human souls, were isolated when Adam was sent out from Garden of Eden, and was wandering on earth. So we are basically the diluted souls from main soul of Adam, which was specially created by God or could be part of God. No civilisation was given the knowledge of soul, but there are many implicit verses in Quran that souls will return to their Lord, or the finality of souls is to its Lord...etc. And God knows best.

We do see God everywhere and anywhere. All around us. His creation is there. In ourselves. Because were made of the same stuff. Just like a drop of the ocean is made of the same stuff as the ocean, but yet not is the ocean, and is obviously not able to see the whole ocean. But are very much a part of it.

It is God's revelation to man by men in the language of men. I use language more broadly to refer not just to words but also to figures of speech, symbolism, etc. The Quran is likewise a work of man. It is written in a human language. All human languages were created by humans. The writing systems for the Bible as well as for the Quran were invented by humans.
Well there where people who saw jesus our LORD 2000 years ago. At least we have a personal connection to God. Mohammed never has seen GOD not even Allah he has seen.

I am happy with the statement of Jesus, the Son of God. He says, He who has seen Me has seen the Father = God. Look at Jesus and you will see God. God revealed Himself in His Son. What was Jesus like? Full of love. God is also full of love. Jesus seeks man. So is God. Jwezus asks: Shabir Ally where are you? God asks that too. So Shabby, run to Jesus, that's like running to God. Nor does the Qur'an say that He is the Son of God.
