As a Christian, I feel both sides need to hear more of this. There is no reason it has to be us or them. It is us. We are all children of God. This man has a wonderful way of dealing with both sides side by side and then explaining it in a non confrontational way.
@@abigailvirgo9306 I don't know. But if you are the Seed of Abraham you would trust God like Adam and Eve did before they fell. God presents Abraham with the same choice to either trust him or morality. You're either the Seed of Abraham or the seed of the serpent.
I'm an agnostic, I've been getting more curious about religions lately (specifically the abrahamic ones) and this is exactly the conversation i enjoy hearing. As I'm currently reading through all of the books, i like hearing from all aspects respectively.
Emily just keep in mind, Abraham was neither a Jew, nor Christian, nor Arab, but he was a Muslim because he submitted his life to God. He submitted his life to God, not by getting baptized in water like the Christian's nor saying the shahada like the Sunnis and Shia but saying "I submit my life to the Lord and Cherisher of the Universe. Worship God alone, do good deeds, stay clear of religious sects. Peace of God be with you always.
@@indigo2009 Abraham married Keturah (Genesis 25) and Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbah. Shuah are their offspring. Ishmael is Abraham 's first son with Hagar (Genesis 16). Abraham is a descendent of Eber one of the grandson's of Noah. Eber (Ebre) is the root of Heber or Hebrew...so if Abraham was a Hebrew so are his son's, not just Isaac all of them. Yes one of God's special covenants was through the lineage of Isaac, but God also blessed Ishmael's seed as well. Peace of God be with you.
@@indigo2009 Abraham was not an Israeli, he was the grandfather of Israel, and the father of all of his children. The custom you speak of was unique to the Children of Israel, It didn't apply to Grandfather Abraham he had Sarai or Sarah, Hagar and Keturah. Genesis doesn't even say where Sarah was from, probably Ur of the Chaldeans. You are my witness as to what God promised Abraham regarding his seed. I know that the children of Israel received God's special Blessings and attention beyond others, at first. However again you as my witness know what the children of Israel did and as a result what God did to the children of Israel. Peace of God be with you.

Allah chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him)._
And us Muslims believe in both covenants & promises, meanwhile Jews & Christian’s believe God only kept one promise and forgot about Ishmael or abandoned Ishmael. Stop this. Both were given a promise & God fulfilled both
So, in short, the convenant was not for Ismail? Remember when Ibrahim was told to sacrifice his only son? I don't think he had two when he was told to kill the one he had.
And by the way, Ismail means "Heard by God" and Isaac means "They will laugh" Obviously, if we are to look at the two names' meanings, we know who was a gift. Not blindly following, you can now know who was to be sacrificed, who was blessed and who was to get a great nation.

Shabir Abraham is called the Father of Faith. It was more about faith than the land. as you quoted, "Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness". :-)
Great video, right up till the end. Why say the Bible focuses on land? Why be divisive like that? Just like the Quran, the Bible focuses on the faith of Abraham. In fact, mention of Abraham in the Injeel, in the book of Hebrews, occurs in what is called the "faith chapter". the Bible tells the story of Abraham's life, the covenants he made with Allah, and the promises that Allah gave him for being faithful. The focus in the Bible is on the rewards of faith, land was only a part of that, and a future part at that. The real reward for Abraham was his sons, both given by Allah!

Ryan Thompson, As you said, Hebrews speaks of Abraham thus: " By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she[fn] considered him faithful who had made the promise. And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore." - Hebrews 11:8-12
One thing, I found interesting was that there are three religions RECORDING his life! How, Can the Quran, the Bible and the Tonakh all record his history if he didnt exist? They actually kind of support each other on his history.
Dr Ally starts off saying that in the New Testament Abraham is described as the example of faith, quoting the few epistles that already quote the old testament saying "Abraham beleived God and it was credited to his righteousness". Then he ends saying the Bible focuses on land just to say that the Quran is more about faith. Also, we do read in the Bible that God tells Abraham to cast out Hagar and Ismael and that He will make a nation out of Ismail. This is Genesis 15 verses 9 to 13. Dr Ally however makes it sound like only in the Quran we read that it is God's will.
Nobody got cast out. Typical Judeo-Christian FORGERIES about their Muslim brothers in Faith. When you get into the details of what occurred between Abraham, his wives, and his sons (Ishmael and Isaac), it is the Bible that promotes falsehood.
I Respectfully disagree with the point that abraham according to the Bible was more about the land. It is the opposite. Genesis 22:1-30 clearly shows that God was testing Abraham's faith not about the land. As you mentioned before, christians in the new testament are called to live by faith just as abraham did.
True Bible tells us that Abraham is Father of faith, one more thing in Thora it’s clearly mention Sarah was Abraham’s legal wife, in Quran it’s mentioned as Hagar was wedded wife, more than that Abraham was a maker of Idols, God called him,he left everything and came. First off all Christianity is not a religion it’s the way of life, Jesus too didn’t come to establish a religion, "the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch" (Acts 11:26). The religion Islam started Hijiri 1445 after 500 years of Jesus born, till than Islam was existing? Bible and Quran not the same, when 5 books at Tora what it says even Quran also should tell the same, Issac only God asked to sacrifice but Quran says Ismail only God told to Sacrifice, Issac was promise child of God, this very first thing only not matching, we should understand this.
Muslims read the bible and christians read the Quran , I couldn’t agree more, at the end of the day we can all learn something and decide rather than be told how to think. Christian or Muslim ...Peace. 🙏

I’m surprised no one gave you any help. Just show up to the mosque (preferably on a friday around 12-1pm because that’s around the time Islamic service happens) and ask the questions that you have. Try to find a revert/convert who can give you help from both sides after the service is over (it usually lasts about and hour). You can even talk to the Imam (the one who is giving the lecture) and he can help also. May God help you on your journey and you be guided to islam ameen!

Talal Itani just sent me a complimentary Quran... Talal is one translator into English. We have been dialoguing... it is fascinating to see the correlations between the descendants of Isaac and the descendants Ishmael and their histories. The reason why I believe that Isaac was actually the one to be sacrificed (not Ishmael) is because the Christ came from the Tribe of Judah and He was the Lamb promised... Jesus was the Lamb of God, provided for the sacrifice (prophetically speaking). The Messiah came from the lineage of the offspring of Isaac, as Paul explains to the Galatians (mostly Gentiles). Very interesting... I love what Dr. Shabir says here. He is truly brilliant! I love this man! Blessings upon you and yours.

It’s also important to mention that in the Quran, God took Abraham as a friend (4-25) وَ اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلُ . None of his prophets had attained that status . And Abraham is also referred to as the father of the prophets in Islam as many prophets come from Abraham’s lineage. In Christianity he’s referred to as the father of faith. The story of Abraham in Islam is about faith and obedience and it’s also about sacrifice. Abraham sacrificed his youth as he preached the oneness of God and taught idolatry at a very young age, he sacrificed his family and left them in the desert as he was commanded by God then God commands him again to sacrifice his son. Peace be upon him.

Yes. Same prophet. Many of the prophets in the Bible and Quran are the same, their depiction may be somewhat different and the Quran goes more in depth about these individuals than in the Bible. For instance the Quran has a whole sura dedicated to Mary and the announcement of her emaculate conception as well as the actual birthing of prophet Jesus (Isa) as well as her return to her village with her new born. Mary is unmarried, there is no Joseph. It is an extremely interesting and fascinating sura.
The story of Noah is not retold Instead his story as told in the Bible makes him oft mentioned in the Quran as an example of a prophet who was obedient to the Lord.
Ibelieve you have skipped a very important aspect of the relationship between Abraham and Ishmael . According to Biblical accounts Abraham visited his son Ishmael several time in the valley of Bakka . Ishmael is also present in his father‘s funeral. I believe it’s an important aspect of relationship between Ishmael and Abraham.
Jesus said, "before Abraham was I AM"..Wake up Muslims..JESUS said He will be returning soon with power and glory and with all of His Angels to take the righteous who follow Him and His commandments home to heaven with Him...Muslims have to pay for their own sins which is "death" b/c u reject the gift of life from JESUS.
At 1:40 - "in the old testament, new testament, and in the Quran, Abraham is uniformly presented as a great prophet and leader...." Question: where did Abraham say, I am a prophet? If it can't be found in the old testament, new testament, or the Quron, then why do some Muslims say that Jesus isn't God because He didn't specifically say, "I am God"?
Muslims say this for one reason only - because they listen to idiots like Zakir Naik who said where does Jesus say "I am god, worship me" and now they want Christians to show them that EXACT line in their texts.
@Rodney James Jehovah is a pokemon invention of the pauline alibaba church! its got nothing to do with God of Abraham or Jesus Scholars recognize the 'Jehovah' is not an accurate rendering of the Tetragrammaton; many believe 'Yahweh' comes to the closest to the pronounciation of the Hebrew. In its original 'Foreword' the Watch Tower's New World Translation stated: ''While inclining to view the pronouciation ''Yah.weh'' as the more correct way, we have retained the form ''Jehovah'' because of people's familiatrity with it since the 14th century'' (New World Translation of the Christian Greek Scriptures, page 25. See Chapter 4, pages 71-73,75)
@@fidelcatsro6948 That's actually incorrect. Jehovah is an accepted name for God and has been used widely. The Tetragrammaton is God's Name in scripture. Tetragrammaton the Hebrew name of God transliterated in four letters as YHWH or JHVH and articulated as Yahweh or Jehovah. Those who say that the divine name should not be used because it is not known exactly how to pronounce it will nevertheless freely use the name Jesus. However, Jesus’ first-century disciples said his name quite differently from the way most Christians do today. To Jewish Christians, the name Jesus was probably pronounced Ye·shuʹa‛. And the title “Christ” was Ma·shiʹach, or “Messiah.” Greek-speaking Christians called him I·e·sousʹ Khri·stosʹ, and Latin-speaking Christians Ieʹsus Chriʹstus. Under inspiration, the Greek translation of his name was recorded in the Bible, showing that first-century Christians followed the sensible course of using the form of the name common in their language. Similarly, the New World Bible Translation Committee feels that it is reasonable to use the form “Jehovah,” even though that rendering is not exactly the way the divine name would have been pronounced in ancient Hebrew.
@De Kree It appears Rambam didn't actually say the name should never be said or translitereated, or that you should avoid saying it if possible. Exodus 20:7 only says do not use the name incorrectly, without proper reverence. There is a big difference between only doing something with proper respect, and not doing it at all. You might say it is necessary for someone to eat the Passover meal with proper reverence for the occasion. But isn't it a serious sin to choose not to partake at all? If you actually have been commanded "this is to be my name for all eternity" isn't it a serious matter to disobey? For me it is a matter of concious that I believe that this is what was commanded. I'm no scholar but I think "eternity" makes much more sense than "concealed". With due respect to the oral tradition, I think the context of the verse refutes the idea that the name was supposed to be a secret. And I think the rest of scripture supports the idea that the name was supposed to used from generation to generation. Not kept hidden. A simple example, Boaz wasn't shy of saying it in Ruth 2:4 And Pslam 72 of Solomon, verse 17, would appear to be reference to Exodus 3:15. I don't think it makes sense to say Solomon wanted the LORDs name to endure in secrecy, and to increase, and that all nations would call the LORD blessed.
I’m a christian and I admit I really don’t like many of the muslim apologists like M. Dr. Shabir, please can you do an episode about this talk of "final" and "last" . i find it very hard to believe that God inn his Boundless Mercy would finalize that Mercy through one man... or one text... what if history was lost? what if a great book burning took place? that's it? I really find it an issue when the Quran itself says multiple times "you are 'one of' the messengers sent." but this idea of "last" and "final" were not present anywhere else except for one verse. and of course, hadith, which i already know how you feel about them from previous episodes. I understand if you cannot speak to this out of the unfortunate fear extremists have sown, but please, I see you reason and intelligence. Am i misguided?

i was waiting to see when he would mention the differences between the quran and bible; in the quran it says it was ishmael who abraham was going to sacrifice as testing of his faith however in the bible it says it was isaac
The SACRIFICE took place when Abraham had ONLY ONE SON. The only person capable of being Abraham's only son is Ishmael not Isaac. Yet, the Bible says THINE ONLY SON ISAAC in two or three places in Genesis. The mental gymnastics it takes to make ISAAC the ONLY SON of Abraham is ludicrous. The Quran CORRECTS what Biblical Scribes FORGED (lied about).
Abraham was Kurdish. Abraham means " Brother to all" in Kurdish. A-ḇrā-hā-m: Bra= brother, ham= everyone. Abraham was born in Harran a Kurdish city in northern mesopotamia ( Now South east Turkey-populated by kurds). Harran in kurdish means “you all go". Abraham original religion was Zoroastrians. He was a revolutionist and started his own religion, trying to reform the old religion of his people ( Kurds). Because of this he was banished by his own people ( Kurds) in Harran and was forced to move to Canaan with Sarah where he was able to establish his reformed religion. The word, He-brew, meaning Oh-brother, in kurdish. He "oh" Brew ( brother) is clearly the derivative of Prophet Abraham name. The name could actually be a title because he was the religious leader of his people. Prophet Abraham did not have any written document for his religion. The religion was maintained by his family orally from generation to generation until Prophet Moses wrote his Ten Commandments. That is why genetic testing of Jewish poeple of Isreali origin are close only to the Kurds. Yahuda comes from kurdish words " Ya- xwedê = Oh-God. Terah or Te-rah: Your path. “Te= your, Rah=path Torah or To-rah: “your guide” To= you, Rah= guide. Nahor or Na-hor: there are no clouds. Na= none, Hor= clouds. Tanakh or Ta-na-kh meaning “do not do”; Ta’nax or Ta-Nax meaning “come from bottom of my heart”.
Muslims reconcile these. Abraham took Ishmael to mecca and built kabah and left him . Then Hagar went to mecca and when water was finished she raced safwa and Marwa then we'll of zam zam when she is with Ishmael. So who took Ishmael to mecca? How did they go there? Did the water she carried take her upto mecca from Israel land? Look at bible story Abraham sent Hagar away with jag of water Ishmael was young Water got finished Angel met her Well of water erupted in Beersheba in Sinai desert Ishmael settled there He became archer Hagar got him Egyptian wife Had 12 sons living in NW of Arabia Ishmaelites and midianites traded along there to Egypt and sold Joseph Ishmael buried his father David had ishmaelites in his Army David's sister got married to an ishmaelites. How come Allah never ever made the Jacob line to know about the great mecca Kaaba connection? This is what leaves the SIN as a compete. Fabrication. Is it Hagar who took Ishmael to mecca and zam zam well appeared? Or Abraham who took him to build kaaba and stayed there. In both cases Ishmael be some ancestor of Arabs and do Mohamed.. These are clear lies
Bible says that God opened well for ishmael and hagar in barsheba desert. Which is in israel. But muslim says that that well is in mecca. What a joke is islam
Keep in mind that there is no historical trace for Mecca existing prior to Islam. There are tens of thousands of inscriptions from Arabia which date back more than a thousand years before Islam, they mention cities in the region, kings, dynasties, wars, etc, but not a single one mentions Mecca. The idea that Abraham went to Mecca is never mentioned in any prior text, nor do we hear of any other prophet ever talking about or making a pilgrimage to Mecca. There is zero historical and archaeological evidence for a connection between Abraham and Mecca, but Muslims want us to believe of one based on a very late text, the Quran.
When the Quran makes a historical accurate fact when reciting the story of Moses, the universe expanding, the baby developing in the womb, the "Tarik" star, while the bible doesn't help but contradict itself every two seconds, are you really sure you're the correct one?

Can somebody tell the main differences between the Bible and the quran? Isn't it the same kind of story in a different jacket? ( not to offend anyone, just curious)
The main deference between the Bible & the Quran is about absolute oneness of God. Also, we muslims believe that the Quran is the final and only uncorrected book from God but, the other books are corrupted. In Quran Allah SWT says: ذٰلِكَ الْكِتٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ "This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah -" (QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 2) Also in Quran Allah says: "He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him." (QS. Al-ikhlas 112)
The theme of the Bible is JESUS and how He came from heaven to earth at the predicted time to save men...The Plan of Salvation assures us that He is returning soon as He said He would with ALL of His Angels to take the righteous home to heaven with HIM..Muslims have to pay for their own sin.."death"..JESUS , who pays the penalty for our sins and transform us so that we follow HIM and keep His commandments, gives us LIFE...awesome!!
Yes beautiful explanation, however monotheism didn't start with Abraham, it must have started with Adam otherswise it becomes problematic from theocratic bases of Islam and Judaism even Christianity as well... If Adam cannot know God in oneness there's no possibility for any succeeding human being to God in oneness of being the only and only Deity worthy of worship... Dr. Shabbir may not have noticed that slip off... Adam is recorded in Islamic conceptions as the first prophet, inorder to be prophet you got understand who is God or not .
BC = Before Christ;s birth....and AD = After Christ;s birth.....Our calendar is based on Christs birth 4 (four) thousand years ago as predicted in the Old Testament....He will be returning soon as GOD and KING (six thousands years)..6 days/Six thousand years....the 7th day/7th thousand year, is Sabbath Rest in Heaven with Jesus our God.
@@paulpeekey4972 thats a standard for historians to measure time in years and there is nothing wrong with that. And by saying Before Mo or After Mo we Muslims also have Hijra calendar but not B. mo or A. mo so🤷🏻
@@hasanitto did you understand my question. Why based on before christ? After death of christ? Why christ. Why not moses or Pharaoh or Alexander the great or mohammed? If you answer this go search for him who owns the c
Before Abraham I AM JESUS said Now YOU know. The power of Jesus is Came from God Jesus is also GOD because heal mercy and give life to death is also the Power of GOD
Jesus was trying to tell you Before Abraham i was going shopping... Church scribes twisted and turned the verses to make Jesus look like a Pokemon God Incarnate he was not!!
@@fidelcatsro6948 It is all through the synoptic gospels too. When Jesus walks on water (Job 9:8), calms the storm (Psalm 107:29), when the shepards bow down and worship him (Psalm 95:6-7), when Jesus forgives men their sins, prophecies about the LORD that the gospel writters instead apply to Jesus (Matthew 3:3). There is also the hymn/creed in Philipians 2 which was composed very, very early. The idea that the deity of Jesus was a later addition to the scriptures is disproven.
Shabbir ally! You Hav to re read bible. Abraham was tested faith by God by asking sacrifice of Issac, it's not only Land, n made covenant with Issac not with Ishmael.
Stop meowing like a pussy and read this: And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. (genesis 17;20)
@@01faisall I'm sorry! You don't Hav knowledge about, my God did not make covenant with Ismael, he made covenant with Issac bcoz he s promised child by God..🙏
I think you want to know if Abraham (pbuh) was a jew or muslim. He was defeated a Muslim because anyone who repents to God is a muslim. That's what Islam means, it means the one who submitted his will to God. And Abraham (pbuh) did everything God asked.
Arabic Ethnics lived long before Abraham in Arabia but first son of abraham, Ismael was arabized by native Arabs of Yemen tribe, jurhoom tribe. Likewise Abrahams second son Issac lived with Cannanites people so he adopted the Cannanites language. This Cannanites language was the so called hebrew language but has some Egyptian coptic and Aramean language influences as well.
Muslims can't even claim that ishmael was arab. At those time Islam was not even invented. Hagar was from Egypt. Bible says that God opened well for hagar and ishmael in barsheba desert. Which is actually a place in israel itself.
These people can't stand by alone on Quran they have to depend on the Bible and they have to live by saying their scriptures are correct don't compare with Bible ,which are old scriptures with your modren scriptures. In this whole video about Abraham they just compared bible with Quran but one thing they don't talk is of the three visitors who visited Abraham and told that Sara will give a son ISAAC and the covenant GOD maid with only ISAAC not with Ishmael. They won't talk about it.
You want to focus on the wording "take your only son" ... but chose to ignore that Isaac is named 6 times as the son to be sacrificed in Genesis 22. Islam is deciteful!!!
1 Corinthians 1 Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this system of things? Has not God made the wisdom of the world foolish? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not get to know God through its wisdom, God was pleased through the foolishness of what is preached to save those believing. 22 For the Jews ask for signs and the Greeks look for wisdom; 23 but we preach Christ executed on the stake, to the Jews a cause for stumbling but to the nations foolishness. 24 However, to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
did anyone know there’s a prophecy against the written code? They warned us about this problem, creates confusion and war between each other, the written code , see china what is doing now, xi Jinping is going to create a new law using Bible & Quran according to their communist laws. Ecclesiastes 12 (Salomon) The words of the wise are like oxgoads, and their collected sayings are like firmly embedded nails; they have been given from one shepherd. 12 As for anything besides these, my son, be warned: To the making of many books there is no end, and much devotion to them is wearisome to the flesh. 13 The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man. 14 For the true God will judge every deed, including every hidden thing, as to whether it is good or bad.

Why Abraham's generations always fight with each other even if they are generation of one father? Why God don't make any Peace between them (Israelites, amalakites ishmaelites)? Could you please answer those questions.? This is not my question But question from some Hindu and Atheist friends. But still no Muslim or no christian or no Jews could answer to this question . I expect the answer from you.
Actually God has sent us numerous signs through His messengers as to how to achieve this. Unfortunately we humans for them most part are a contentious, egotistical lot who ignore the these signs. We will figure it out someday maybe.
In a nutshell, God made promises to Abraham's descendants, these promises were passed on only to Israel, the son of Isaac, the son of Abraham. Only Israel were God's chosen people, only they had the law, a covenant with God, a promised land, a temple to worship God. God only sent prophets to Israel, and occasionally to Israel's enemies. People fought with Israel because that is what human nature is like, the same reason Cain killed Abel. If Israel had been obedient to God they would never have lost a single fight. The man Israel, the son of Isaac, fought with is his brother Esau in life, as brothers sometimes do. The Amalekites were the descendants of Esau, the brother of Israel. Israel had cheated Esau out of his birthright and blessings, and it is quite likely the Amalekites held a grudge against Israel. When the Israelites were trekking from Egypt to their promised land, the Amalekites tried to wipe Israel out. God cursed the Amalekites for this. He told Saul to utterly destroy the Amalekites. Saul devastated them but he was disobedient to God and failed to wipe them out completely. The last Amalekite was Haman, a descendant of Agag. The Book of Ester explains how Haman tried to wipe the Jews out once and for all, 500 years after Saul killed Agag, but instead Haman was killed. It goes to show that the Amalekites were always genocidal towards Israel. Not much is recorded about the Ishmaelites, except that God refused to bless his descendants with the mighty blessings given to Israel. But he did receive a small blessing. (Genesis 17:20-21) and it is recorded that they lived in hostility towards everyone. (Genesis 25:13-18).
@@phun1901 This kind of promoting Abrahamic descendents looks like Hindu religion where brahmins are the high cast people who are considered to be children of god So no differences in Abrahamic religions as well Everything is just creation to promote a particular family. So others people don't need to follow those kinda biased God 🙏
The God of Abraham is a God of promises. The God of Abraham has revealed itself to non jews in the United States. Maybe even more places. The prophets of God are amongst you now.
Good conversation thank you if you bless me I bless you I like that but my question why to many terror organisations against the 12 tribe's of of Isreal.
why muslim always praying to God to bless mohammed? if he is a prophet he wals already blessed a long time ago….Then peace be upon him! They have doubt that mohammed has no peace and not blessed?
Come on, Dr. Ally, you know better. In the Bible, God tells Abraham to send Hagar and Ishmael away (Ge 21:12), because God will fulfill all his promises through Isaac and not Ishmael. Even the Quran affirms Isaac is the child of promise and not Ishmael.
The Jesus in the Bible also told you to become Muslims and embrace the last Testament why are you still lagging behind with Windows 3.1?? The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.(Luke 6:40) Sounded from aramaic : "Ein talmeed na'leh 'al rabbo; shekken kal adam she'MUSHLAM yihyeh k'rabbo."(from Aramaic : The perfection here means a spiritual one. What the verse is saying is that knowledge is not what matters! The teacher or master is higher in knowledge than his student. But the student can be as high as his teacher, or even higher, by being a true 'MUSHLAM' or Muslim, a spiritually perfect and well-disciplined person!)

@@mohamedaqil49 That isn't evidence that that was what they called themselves. The word muslim has a meaning - "those who submit". Your evidence is eisegesis. The earliest attested references to those who followed Mohammad's religion include names like Ishmaelites, Haragrene, and a few others. But not Muslims. The historical evidence says that was development came later. Almost certainly it eventually happened because of that verse. Similarly the first Christians did not call themelves Christians, but "Followers of the Way". You just can't assume these things.
Peter hunt what the cat are you talking about??? Quran commanded us to call ourselves muslim 1400yrs ago...its clearly stated in surah 3.64 Even my cat knows this... : Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us and you - that we will not worship except Allah and not associate anything with Him and not take one another as lords instead of Allah."
