November 2018 saw the 4-SCOTS The Highlanders lead the armed forces from Edinburgh Castle to Mercat Cross on Edinburgh's Royal Mile. This was the 100th armistice day parade in Edinburgh. The Highlanders then lead the forces back to Edinburgh Castle esplanade

Jim, I've watched most of your pipe band videos many times, and I find the 4 Scots Highlanders to be my favorite. They represent all the best of what pipe bands should look and sound like. Thank you.

I agree - sadly only caught them twice. One here at November 2018 Remembrance and once at British Pipe band Championship in Paisley in 2019. Their Drum Major Callum Mar is the best, The Pipe Major looks the part too.

Every time I watch the return of the 4 Scots to the Castle, I am amused listening to the authoritative commands of the Sergeant at 7:10-7:25. "Eyyeees, ........front!"

I believe Pipe Major Colour Sergeant Peter Grant is on the right front... He played the Lament at Prince Phillips funeral...

@@mikeramseydotnet Yes thats the one! Cracking tune! I asked 3-SCOTS The Black Watch Pipe Major if they could play it - nope its 4-SCOTS The Highlanders tune!
