See why Heidi was so terrified on this trail of epic beauty!
Also, I mentioned a glacier here, when in realty it was a snowfield. :)
Also: this is really a point to point hike. The loop is just a quoted spot on the sun road. All trails describes this as an out and back.

Please see description ❤❤ This is not a loop but - AllTrails states it is an out and back. The shuttles run in the park. Thank you all for dropping in! This was a lot of fun! It’s also worth mentioning that there is a last shuttle of the day. A lot of people hitch hike back to the lot. A lot of other people hike back to the lot. It’s good to make plans for catching the shuttle.

My wife and I hiked this one in July and it was definitely in the top 2 hikes we did (Iceberg Lake was also amazing). While it’s narrow in some sections and made me a little dizzy/vertigo feeling from an inner ear condition I had that definitely caused some anxiety along the way, it is extremely safe and not bad at all particularly if you go early. We parked at Logan Pass, took the trail to the chalet, then down the Loop trail and caught a shuttle ride back to Logan. About 13 and change with the walk to and from our car and just an epic hike. Definitely go early and bring more water than you think you need because once that sun hits you’re totally exposed.
@HeidiAnnHikes

That is awesome!!!! Yes it’s a great one! I LOVED Iceberg way more than I thought I would! I enjoy the more underrated ones! I think we go back and fourth a lot to film so we end up adding an extra mile wherever we go somehow. I am glad you liked it as much as I did! :)

You can put 20 people front to the same landscape and everyone can share a different perspective and is totally valid because humans beings are different. Heidi Ann shares her experience from her own perspective and with the attitude and words from her own personality and all this is totally valid. She is not looking that you think or talk like her, she is sharing her life experiences in her own RU-vid channel and is fantastic, sometimes we can show respect to the wild life but don't show respect for the human beings.

35+ years of hiking/climbing Glacier. over 5000 trail miles and well over 100 mountain summits, and i never tire of the highline trail. it gives the novice a little bit of everything the Park offers - scenery, snowfields, wildlife, floral arrays, jagged peaks, the Grinnell overlook, the Chalet, and if you choose.....one of the most beautiful pass views in the Park (Swiftcurrent). Next step, Heidi? climb a mountain. start with Oberlin (at Logan Pass) - it's a class 2 scramble (or class 3 if you approach via the saddle). Mt Pollock and Mt Piegan are just down the road at Lunch Creek, and they are class 3 (except for the Great Cleft on Pollock). the lookouts are also great adventures. Apgar, Huckleberry, Swiftcurrent (awesome views!!), Numa Ridge (Bowman Lake), Scalplock.....and they 4000+ ft. climb to Mt. Brown or go off trail and scale an easy class 3 peak. keep doing it! my 35 years of memories are cherished. i climbed until i couldn't. do the same.

@@HeidiAnnHikes if the Park gets unbearable, try some of the trails in Jewel Basin, Ten Lakes, or in the Cabinets, the Missions or Whitefish Ranges (get maps or books for info). plus there's 3 million acres of wilderness just south of the Park. nice trails. great views. less traffic. no fees. the Glacier Park trailheads off Hwy 2 between West Glacier and East Glacier are seldom used. check them out on a map and choose..... lots of stuff in NW Montana. i would also suggest visiting every "pass" in the Park if you can. Siyeh, Piegan, Swiftcurrent, Two Medicine, and Triple Divide (a hidden gem) are all able to be accomplished with day hikes. the Dawson/Pitamakin loop (18 miles) takes you over 3 passes. it's a long day, but so worth it. just start knocking them off.....and by the time you reach my age? you'll fall asleep smilin' every night
