Showcasing National Parks, State Parks, Best Places to Hike & Tips on How to have Your BEST Hike! ❤️💕
I am Hoping to make a difference by positively inspiring people to live their best life, get outdoors, and respect the beauty of this planet. Besides, we all know the benefits of being outside right? I post videos on National Parks, and hikes around the Carolinas!
With that being said, practicing Leave No Trace principals are very important to keeping these beautiful places beautiful. ❤️
So… if you are still reading this, I am impressed - most people come here to watch videos, why not hit that subscribe button so you can be a part of the hiking community? 😅

My favorite way to hike this is to take the bus to Logan's Pass early, hike to the Grinnell Glacier overlook, have lunch at the Granite Park Chalet, hike up to the Swift Current Lookout and hike down the valley via Swift Current Pass to Many Glacier Lodge (we stay at Many). What a wonderful way to spend the day. Over the years I have done it a dozen times. Thanks so much for the video!! Always carry bear spray!!! Cheers! Bill
I totally had to look that up! That was a good movie! It has been a while since I watched it! I need to watch again but I think that setting was on the AT?
Acrophobs and agroraphobs should not attempt this trail. You can have the narrow trail and the height get in your head and you press on focusing on your feet and the scenery is a background blurr.
Thank you! So if you like rocks I think Castle Rock but if you like overlooks: Endless Wall. However, I think the Long Point Trail was my personal favorite!
Love this! We did this about a month ago in our local area on a local trail! What was interesting was we actually found some pretty crazy stuff people deemed as trash, maybe it was an accident. I love the focus on nature word! Great idea!
Hey! I made two “long”, pretty short actually, videos on the locations, and everything you need to know about obtaining permits and everything about it! :) I recommend watching them to get all the details you will need to visit 💕 They are great places to see!
Oh no! I hope they are soaking in all the cold now! That is pretty hot! It was a warmer summer for sure there! I was surprised myself to have warm days there as well.
Nice. I found the location and details. Here is the exact location details. Stephens Gap Callahan Cave Preserve 8408 Co Rd 30, Woodville, AL 35776 maps.app.goo.gl/W28ms7TJ7PYkg1Fi7
@ApteacherNetTelanganaTeachers Well, to be honest I was very scared of heights but then I started (still am) trying more and more new height related stuff and it is working little by little. My motto is cry through it… that is literal lol.
This was my favorite hike at Glacier National Park! Saw our first Grizzly and Moose here..I was too afraid to swim in the lake too lol It's just TOO cold!
I didn't like this hike..It's beautiful but has too many cliff edges and we didn't feel safe doing this one with our kids. Iceberg Lake is my favorite so far. I want to do Ptarmigan Tunnel and Cracker Lake this year..We live in Missoula, so we are at Glacier National Park almost every weekend lol.
Wow😍 That truly is a beautiful hike, the views were amazing. Thank you for sharing the info and you’re definitely more sure footed than I coulda been😳 Take care, keep safe 👍🏻💪🏻😃☺️
Eating ice cream with Caramel sauce at what used to be an ice cream parlor downtown as a young boy, eating a picnic on top of the mountain that overlooks the city, skipping flat rocks on Lake Hamilton (Klein Shore Courts), we brought our own food and my mom cocked for us, dad would go into town one day to get bar b que, learning to fish with a pole without a cork, hiking mountain trails, swimming in the lake, sitting out in our cabin on the screened in porch watching the sunset over the lake, shopping at the roadside rock gardens, playing golf when I got older on the 9-hole course that was actually inside the Race Track and many other amazing memories that will be forever burned into my heart and my mind. I know it’s probably changed some but Hot Springs is still an amazing place. After my parents retired they went back for a week because they loved it so much. My dad was born in Nashville, Ark so every time he went to Hot Springs he felt like he was at home again. I need to get back there as soon as I can. I miss it.
@@larryward569 Thank you for sharing this wonderful memory! This sounds so peaceful! The great outdoors is wonderful that way :) God is good! I loved the visit there! Now: the Carolinas!
@@HeidiAnnHikes Here are two more thoughts that are not my own. The first one is how to think and live. The second one applies to what will happen in light of all the evil in the world. Here they are: Psalm 16:5-8 (NIV) Psalm 37:1-7 (King James)
This is amazing , how do u make such good videos ❤ like this its incredible, me myself i want to be a photographer and travel and take beautiful pictures like this - cuz if i see somethin like this it makes me cry cuz its so beautifulll ❤ah
Please see description ❤❤ This is not a loop but - AllTrails states it is an out and back. The shuttles run in the park. Thank you all for dropping in! This was a lot of fun! It’s also worth mentioning that there is a last shuttle of the day. A lot of people hitch hike back to the lot. A lot of other people hike back to the lot. It’s good to make plans for catching the shuttle.
I went on a White Water rafting rip with some friends near there a few years ago. As someone who has been to Colorado amd Arizona, I can say that the landscape in WV is beyond amazing.
3/24 please! That was not a glacier, just leftover snow from the winter, and no it is not a loop hike at all, you hike down to "the loop" - because thats the name of that section of the sun road - cars are not "waiting" for anyone - its a shuttle stop along the road - please... these are details to get right if you are gonna put these videos out - the video portions are good by the way
Thank you so much! I actually realized one of those- a few months ago…. So I added it to the description. However I do wish I would have said shuttle instead of cars. :)
@@HeidiAnnHikes thanks for the sweet reply - i am not harshing on you in any way - just like folks to get it right - been workin here for bout 30 years - see and hear plenty of misinformed comments all over and i just hope new visitors dont get misled before or while they are visiting
@@user-pk5yq6qc5k I appreciate that 💕 I try and research before I create. However, I see now it’s easy to miss things. Thanks for helping this Carolina PE teacher out. I wish I had your experience in these amazing parks! 💕
