I was there in '99 when we won the champions league as a 12 year old lad. we stayed in the Camp Nou for good hour after the fame, and i can tell you for a fact, when Keano came out (we chanted his name and he came out), walked through the tunnel created by the players, and lifted that trophy, it got one of the biggest cheers of the night!! unbelievable captain, and thoroughly deserved to lift that trophy! incredible! we stayed until virtually the last people in the stadium, the stewards were pulling down the champions league stars banners that separate the tiers, my dad hung on to it, and pulled about 10m of it down, rolled it up, and we left with it! what a memory!

Eric didn't win but played a big part in boosting the young team by helping them to the semis just before retiring. That pedigree certainly helped in the build up to winning it two years later.

I never get bored of watching you all, I can imagine sitting at the table with you just listening to those stories all night. Gary you nailed the feeling about away teams scoring at OT in Europe, definitely eerie atmosphere, I felt it in the stands. The concept of this show is genius, as a 50 year old I feel like I have grown up with you all so it’s even better for me. The best European goalkeeping performance at OT by a visiting keeper was the Honved keeper for me, I bet he’s still telling his kids about it that game now.
