On this adventure, I take you to the coastal town of Quepos, Costa Rica to hike a trail that I had found through the app Wikilocs.; El Reto Mae trail. What was described as a 'moderate' trail with some challenging sections, turned out to be one of the scariest and most treacherous hikes I have ever done! Join me as I face my fear of heights, get lost off trail, encounter some of the most amazing cliffside ocean views, waterfalls and monkeys, all the while tackling one of the most challenging hikes yet. Make sure to watch till the end as we end up on one of the prettiest secluded tropical beaches ever!

Some really nice views! Cool to see the monkeys, crabs, and of course begonias, also! That trail definitely looked pretty wild, though 😬

I couldn't even film the scary parts because it was so dangerous 🤣 and neede my full concentration, so as to not fall 80meters to my death 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 thanks for watching. Hope you are doing well friend 🙌🏼

I needed a cup of strong---coffee after the hike. Your videos are entertaining! You have it all humor(Jim Carrey), terror (cliffs and impassable trails, education( who knew there was a Florida clown?), wildlife(monkeys & lizards), camaraderie( glad you have a hiking buddy that is adventurous like you) and ending with cuisine at the restaurant. I really enjoy your content. Thank you for sacrificing your fear of cliffs for my enjoyment 😉

We were hiking yesterday too and the trail wasn’t clearly marked either. We also had to retrace and regroup several times. But not as steep and scary as this one and also less beautiful! Those views of the beaches are just stunning!!!

Another "aren't you jealous of me and this country" episode. Did you know we had a war against Panama for those lands? And Quepos is because of Quepos Cacique? Also, do you realize you are gonna end up knowing more about Tiquicia than most of us? ¡¡Pura Vida!!

Hi Raven! Thanks for tunning in and for leaving a comment. Yes I knew a bit about the war against Panama. The South of Costa Rica has a very interesting history🙌🏼. I can't blame anyone for being jealous, because Costa Rica is the best, but I'm not sure they'd be jealous of this hike 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 It was very hard and frightening but I guess for the views, yes... They should be jealous🤣🤣. Just trying to inspire people around the world to explore wherever they live, no jealousy intended🤣🤣🤣. Lots of other beautiful places in the world as well, but CR is my fave❤️. I hope to one day to be a fountain of knowledge when it comes to exploring CR. Been here 16 years, and one day... I will become a full citizen and who knows.. maybe a write a book about this place. I am constantly fascinated with this country and its endless amount of beautiful and interesting places and people. Pura Vida friend. ✌️
