This is why I watch Harald..He doesnt just go to the famous fancy places that everyone's been and seen hundreds of time..He really takes it to the next level going to absolute remote and barren places where even we Nepalese would prolly think twice before venturing...Thats what makes your content exclusive unique and fresh. keep on exploring mah dude..
I've watched HB from the beginning of his ventures. There have been countless times when I've cringed with my own adrenaline shooting to my toes as he scales those rock cliffs, swims rough waters, rides on various contraptions and spends the night in total strangers homes. Harold Balder is a modern day super hero whom defies the deadliest of snakes, ferocious carnivores, and gut-wrenching illnesses. Harold Balder is a "real-life" Indiana Jones. Keep on sir Harold, you my friend are quite the Superstar! Come to Arizona again and you've got yourself a huge Porterhouse compliments of me. Safe travels good sir!
That last shot was INCREDIBLE - in one shot - you have a desert mountain, a greenery mountain, and at the very end, a snow mountain !!! You do NOT seen that everyday - 3 different mountains all visible with 3 different climates and ecosystems. AMAZING !!!
The COOLEST thing about this village is that it's actually made out of surrounding elements! Just imagine a group of people just decided to stay there and a village was started from the single rock. People really don't need much to survive. Just a simple shelter and a few goats. And actually they will be healthier just drinking goat milk and eating dried apples. Modern people are sick because of excess. Things like cheetoes and soda drinks...
Harald has seen and known Nepal better than most Nepalese now. Thanks for bringing footages of all these remote places which a general Nepali would rarely think of visiting.
Yes i bet a Nepalese wouldn't of taken off his shoes to cross a moon river either, why am I not surprised Harald is the first moon tourist and just to say that that this valley in Nepal is just like it.
Your trekking videos leading into these villages and taking part of how they live and what they do daily are phenomenal. I can probably speak for others too but you just sit glued to these episodes in complete awe to how amazing these villages are! We're blessed to being able to part take in this life journey of yours with just a click, amazing times. ~ Much love from Sweden
This is the Kali Gandhaki valley. The caves were inhabited some 800 yrs ago by Buddhists and have paintings on the walls. Many are interconnected. Further down is another beautiful fortress town of Jharkot.
Wow, you got into Mustang, and trekking solo despite the rules, that's a good sign. I love the looks of that village, so remote and otherworldly. Have fun, drink water and watch out for rolling stones.
I’m not trekking just wandering about in lower Mustang which doesn’t have the guide rule. The border to upper mustang is about 45 min walk from where I started this video and there are checkpoints there to ensure you’ve paid your $1300 USD to enter and that a local is holding your hand as you walk on the gravel road it’s impossible to get lost on 🤦♂️
Ah okay, I see. $1,300, yowza. Well it's cool to see that there are some interesting areas you can explore around there anyway, far from the crowds. I'm headed for the Himalayas myself soon.
Another GREAT video !!! Harald, I've never told you this, but after watching your videos for the past few years, even your appearances on Bald's channel, you've changed so much in terms of your whole aura and spirit... in a GREAT and POSITIVE way... I can't put my nail on it, but you're glowing with such a happy and buzzing spirit. That child like wonder and zeal for life. I think in the past, you seemed a bit more reserved and quiet at times. But these trips to the Himalayas, you seem the most passionate and happy I've ever see you. And now you bring that with you to all the other cities you visit around the world. I thought I would just point out as an objective observer, you've grown so much as a person, and I respect that so very much.
This was so extremely wholesome and friendly. I loved the interaction with the locals in the village, so much respect. This has to be one of your best video's ever, loved every second of it. This village is a place i would never be able to visit myself, so i enjoy seeiing this through your camera. Thanks for sharing your journey with us, i hope you never stop.
Its just getting better and better , more thrilling, more adventarous, more fun . The kind of video that i never regret watching it. It gives me courage to do something that i was lethergic to exucute. Happy to being part of your adventure ❤
Thanks, Harald, Your oldest subscriber from india Bangalore..... You are the real influencer, the realest human, real everything... Living life as it supposed to be lived ... I hope i can do what you do, be like you..
Unless you're scaling actual mountains 6000 metres tall or walking through areas with zero people, no paths and tons of wild dangerous animals then yes it is
"That you bought the ticket and popcorn for!"@@CryptoGrifters - ... and in Nepal were forced by the government to pay for against your will... so it wasn't even your choice to bring the movie spoiler to begin with 🤦🏼♂ If it wasn't like that I would've continued further up this valley as this is the last episode. I cannot go further without a guide and paying $1300 dollars. I'd be happy to pay that money as a protected nature reserve fee or whatever they want to call it but I do not want some dude telling me what hill I can and cannot climb because it may be a risk to my personal safety. So now hundreds of thousands of people who would've loved to see the beauty of upper Mustang (and possibly afterwards travel there themselves) here on my channel will now not see it. Local businesses will not be promoted and the Didi of upper Mustang and potentially many other deserving business owners just like her will not be found. Forcing guides upon people in safe well known paths and roads where Nepalis can walk freely without any experience is a joke and incredibly damaging for tourism.
I love watching Harald because he goes beyond popular tourist spots, exploring incredibly remote and desolate places that even we Nepalese might think twice about visiting. This makes his content unique, fresh, and truly distinctive. Keep exploring, my friend!
So excited to watch a new Harald video! The video start was indeed like being on a foreign planet. Oh no, never forget the water bottle. "I can probable do this" Many times one's Last Words! 🙂 "Ultra Hazardous" sounds a bit dangerous! I would have got my feet wet rather than scale a cliff wall. 🙂Sometimes I forget you do these incredible climbs with just one hand! Just amazing Harald! Just amazing! I loved the slo-mo footage near the top of the cliff. Thanks and praise to Odin for watching over you! Thanks for sharing the i-Phone footage of the caves! Cool ladder to the roof in the village. The village is everything one could have imagined in an isolated area. Harald! That going down the narrow wooden stairs from the building roof was an exciting moment since it seemed a challenge even for you. The entire video has just been amazing! "In case I fall, we'll have it on tape!" What a PRO!
Big hello from Australia Harald , hope you are doing well. Such amazing places out there in the world and it's always great to see you explore and experience the ruggedness and the beauty of them . Keep up the great work 👍👍👍👍🥃🥃🥃
Hey, gotta say I think this is one of your best vids with landscape and village you visited. I have watched all your vids and helped me get through bloody lockdown. I felt this was definitely one of the most remote places you had been to. Made me want to go to Nepal again.
Wow your journeys just keep getting more adventurous, I looove all your new content and you can be so proud, you took your own direction after Bald and Bankrupt and your new content is just amazing and shows your adventurous spirit. Your doing such a great job ♥
Man this village is so scenic what a great place to live (aside from the limited resources that as a westerner I’d not want to live without) and I could spend hours chilling by that river bed on the moon
Harold, this is out of context but, your second language, which I presume is english, is far better than many that only speak english. Better in vocabulary, idioms and grammar with an optimistic flowing melodic Norwegian accent. Pleasure to listen to. Also, Nepal seems to bring out a genuine enthusiasm for this place.
Watching your Himalayan series is nothing less than watching documentary on Discovery. Even better as you are doing it solo without any cameraman carrying the camera. I am yet to visit Himalaya of Nepal side. Have visited Indian side as I am from India. Mountains are my fav places to visit. Will visit Nepal someday.
Make so many videos that your videos become a complete history book for the coming generations. You have helped many people in some way or the other. Never stop, you are amazing.
Thats so true, you are amazing, Heraldo. Handing a helping hand all around our planet..in the most hidden places. And you let the "coincidencias" guide you, I feel.. You let Nature guide you. That creates a deeper meaning in your meeting with the persons. I think this is an awesome way, to build Bridges,, to unifie us, all!!
Currrntly studying for my pharmacy exam but the Nepal series got me hooked, literally watch only your videos on my breaks. I know this is going to be a quality video, thank you Harold :)
Enjoy following you on your travels. Been watching for a few years and it is great that you dont swear--it is greatly appreciated. PLEASE continue to keep the profanity out of your videos for us old folks!! Thanks for sharing
Hey Harald, Thanks for taking us on that epic trek! Although, you didn’t always warn us that you are activating the Gabriel high roller traveller mode you did capture some of the most phenomenal footage very well. Enjoying all your Nepal footage so far and can’t wait to see more. Safe travels Haraldo!❤
What a fantastic place.great bit of filming there Harold.. I would imagine the winters must be very hard there..just normal people living normal lives...
Fantastic, takes me back there. The wind in those valleys ........its relentless........luckily will be behind you at some point...gives u a real spring in your step.
Thank you so much Harald for choosing to visit Lubra and Vlog. Lubra is my mother’s village and most of the families who lives there are related. Feels good to relive through your video the cafe guy who wasn’t in the video is my first cousin .. and I’m sure he had very cool stories to tell I wish you stayed there for a night. Well would love to see more of mustang next time :)
I wanted to stay but there was hardly anyone around so decided to go to Marpha where I knew there’d be plenty of people to talk with. I wish I had known about the ancient religious beliefs of the village. I would’ve read up on that before going. Anyway it was amazing to visit. Thanks for writing
once i used to watch bear grill..the trekcker..who eats anything but last 3/4 years am your big fan ..your truelly a brave hiker traveler... you travel allmost through any unforgiving trecks withotu any fear of wild animals reptiles...or ghosts.. and simon wilsons too..the monopoly guy.. and now am addicted to your chanel even my 19 year old son watches your chanel.. we pray to allmighty god for your safety in your every videos that you make......becuase of your videos my tea/coffee/drinks /food taste even better when i watch and eat drink same time front of my 17 inch laptop..

Fabulous video. Love your work. Just amazing places we see through your lens. Very Precious. Thank you. So refreshing to watch Haraldo’s videos , he NEVER asks for Likes, Subscribes, or bell hitting. Very Professional videographer. ✅👍
Nice interaction with beautiful people of Nepal. The English is not important. it is the most important they are willing to show they way of living and they hospitality. Thank you for this video and people who participate in it.Best of luck to all of them.
I do believe that this place and these people that live there are one of the most amazing things I have seen. Incredible job and thanks for taking me there.
Harald just casually walked in a family home, invite himself on a tour while shooting a video. He even accomplished to let random family members film his dangerous stunts in their home. I love it. Great videos Harald.👍🏻👍🏻
The way this Crazy NorthMen Mr. Harald tackles the adventurous route on an extreme level is, something out of the box, compared to how others do it. Harald really is of a different bloodline, like a viking💪
Wow ! Epic adventure in this remote place, Haraldo you are a hero in trecking around and showing such splendid, marvellous landscape and a village with stunning houses and so friendly people ! I thank you so much, without your exploring i would never see such places in Nepal ! Namaste 🌸🙏
Lots of villagers will never get to know that a Norwegian men has roamed there village street and shot stones and hens and now the video is watched by lakhs of people across the globe, this is the reason I appreciate this men’s videos, harpal approves from Calgary Canada ❤
I would honestly pay a million to spend a few days with Harald on one of his trips, and not in a weird way…..He just has an amazing aura about him and he bonds with people and understands people no matter what country he is in, the language barrier isn’t an issue because the heart ❤️ barrier is up ❤❤❤❤❤
Dear Haraldo, your contents are exceptional even without these risks you take.. you can actually do without them or I fear we'll never get to watch your last vid.. God bless you my friend
HARALDO,we all approve, another exceptional, amazing video, one of the very best series of Nepal, the landscape of this part of Nepal almost like from another planet, more, more ,more vids from Nepal,5 stars out of 5,Haraldo the best!!!!!!!
Superb video, in a class by itself! With bonus footage of a free solo, first ascent of uncharted cliff wall while carrying GoPro to document the climb. Harald is truly gonzo! Fortunately, for us, he is a gifted film maker.
18:27 That right there is the best Idiot voice I have ever heard in my years being alive...You seem to be the best at everything Harald, what a fab video...always looking forward to the next. Always!
Certainly didn't expect to see such a beautiful town after seeing the initial wasteland that looked almost otherworldly! Also Mr. Ronaldo really channelled the entirety of his German heritage with those house invasions! Another banging vlog and awesome and friendly people! This man doesn't miss!
This place looks little bit like a Flintstones city 😆I never see in my life so much stones 😀The local people are very cute and friendly 🤗Very interesting video 😁👏Thanks for sharing and take care 👍
Thanks Harald for sharing your travels and for saying hello to so many people and talking with them. This ancient village is so beautiful, what incredible lives people live. Your videoas have really inspire me to return to Nepal, and to try som e Gongo"! thanks so much Namaste 🙏
I really like this series, love seeing how the people live in these villages very interesting, i know harald will bless the people of nepal just by being interested in their lifestyle ,althoug ive got some ideas for some gifst you could bring these villagers on your next voyage, In europe we have really nice high quality tools that these people probably don't have acces to for instance , a HELLE knife (made in norway), A nice folding saw like a Silky brand, A nice rechargeable flashlight like a Nitecore or Fenix. or just any high quality tool that would last them a lifetime, And get Sunil some Fjallraven pants he earned them and will never wear jeans again. and my apology for invading the comment section
Your types of comments in this video are proving that we are all the same. We are kind, and we love each other. Sending love from the other part of the world. I feel united. One love! ♥️🌎 You are so kind, and the comment is so thoughtful. May you live 100 years of no pain and hardship.🙏♥️
herald you are the only vloger that is exploring and treeking i love this so much. most of the vloger just visit pokhara and return thanks for coming back
Great video. Have you thiught abiut taking a small drone with you on potentially dangerous hikes? You could send the drone up to check terrain rathen than climbing a mountainside just find its a dead end
Have a wonderful day HB It is so cool how many unique people you come across I cry soemtimes when you leave a family that you have interacted with and have spent time with 3x Happy Emoji face so thank you for introducing us to these beautiful people and place
😂 at last whitey!! I love your humor xoxo look forward to your videos daily!!! Stay safe & thank you! My daughter & I bond over your videos & binge watch lol 😂 love you Harald 💜🙏💜
Thank you so much Ronaldo😅(Harald) visiting my hometown. I have no word to describe how much I appreciate you to showing every corner of my village to the world and visiting every houses.
I am your big fan! Please don’t end your vlog series without exploring upper mustang, braga ,lo manthang . So I request you to hire a guide and explore more north! Nice videos.
Wow those buildings are magnificent just to think that native people in the American south west lived just like people here in the Himalayas building and living with what the land has to offer those building were like the ruins of the Anasazis they made two story building also with entrance hatches up top and down the ladders to there homes also have storage for weaponry food and supplies they needed to live in almost same rugged terrain some date back to over 500 years or more just WOW good exploring Harald
Due to slow net everytime when you uploaded the video since 2017 till date I used to download every video of yours to watch and it's worth watching........big fan from Nagaland
