The Kar98k wasn't a "sniper rifle", it was the standard ordinance rifle, not everyone had a sturmgewehr

@@Snicshavo STG wasn’t rare in 1944 and 1945, it was common for assault troops like SS Panzergrenadiers. However the 98K was far more common, and the STG was uncommon for regular infantry.

It was made with an upper part of an MP40 and an lower part of an MP28. Approximately 26,000 in 1941 and an additional 1,800 by 1944 was used by Romanian Troops.

What most people ignore, is that in WW2 90% of the infantry carried bolt action rifles or carbines. (The US army had semi auto since 1936 but its another story) And smgs were often issued to NCOs, expecially in the Wehrmacht. In the red army, on the other hand, most infantrymen had a PPSh by 1944. And pistols were NOT very common as a few men carried one in battle.

10:17 actually,.they did had or equip an MP40 with a Pazerschreck (idk how to write it) making like an Infantry Anti-Tank loadout with a WP38 or a P08 as a Sidearm (Edit) I didn't know how to write the German Bazooka and the first try I write it, I wrote it correctly

IRL a Panzerschreck squad would be 2 soldiers, one who carries the weapon and fires it. The other one would carry the rockets (around 2-3) and a Kar98, he would also reload the Panzerschreck

10:21 respect on your ability to speak the German R. The R for none native speakers (at least for everyone i heard trying) is like the English TH for Germans. Not many can pronounce it correctly. (You could work on the Z tho. It could be a bit… punchier)

Historically accurate is fine and all but i just can't wrap my head around the fact that how did Germans end up being in a Pacific Island in the first place. They had limited involvement in the Pacific but never on land,only on sea. You should have used the Type 100 and Arisaka for the Japanese or the Tommy and some other American guns (i can't think of any at the moment) for it to be historically accurate for this map

Ww 2 soldiers werent using that much 50 rounds drum mags on the thompsons due to them being heavy and had bad ergonomics they were using 20 round stick mags or the new model of the thompson 30 round stick mags. Other than that, great video

That mp40 isn t historical accurate. The standard mp40 has a 32 bullets mag, of 9 mm parabellum, and not the 45 with 7.62 ( after all 7.62 ammo are bigger irl than the 9mm, but vanguard is stupid). Also the stg44 and mg42 are historical accurate

I have an amazing recommendation and ever since I did this my life has been so much better and I've been less depressed And all I had to do was just stop playing warzone and Vanguard, I know crazy idea since the games are so perfect in every way
