NO! if anyone would have died from a curse it would have been Carter but he lived to a ripe old age. The curse story is just old click bait story. Guess it got me!
People say carter is a reason not to believe in the curse, but if they truly knew how curses work then you know it's very much what happened. Curses aren't all death wishes, some curses allow you to live but in misery, carter watched people die close to him, Howard carter was banned from Egypt when he tried to take over the treasury of tutankhamun when it belongs to Egypt. But was later allowed back. He never found love, it really comes down to perception
That is the way the Pharaohs did things, they married the daughter of the Great Royal who would have been at the least his half-sister. That destroyed most Dynasties. Tut Himself was pretty deformed due to being about the 4th in a line of incestuous births.
Who’s to says that some of them didn’t take home some of the artifacts and that is what brought about a curse? I think that is what happened. I mean really, think about it. when they first found the tomb, they can take whatever they want home before anyone else knew about it.
The Ancient Egyptians should've filled the tombs with traps, specifically punji sticks/stakes. One false move, and you're impaled for eternity, with or without the treasures you attempted to steal. I'm sure if this had been the case, many of the tombs we know today, would be left intact or, at the very least, undiscovered. To me, there's no difference between archaeology and grave robbing: you're disturbing something that wasn't meant to be opened.
I've just watched 'How Britain Built the Railway's with Chris Tarrant' on C5 and have difficulty in understanding why the Stockton & Darlington Railway always gets overlooked and missed out of these history programs! It was built and open before the Liverpool & Manchester Railway AND ran the FIRST passenger train in 1825! Come on historians stop missing out some important parts of history! Do your job!
