Genuine Question? If BARAAWE People are Mixed with Persian, Arab and Portuguese? How can you claim you were here before ethnic Somalis. I’m from Mogadishu myself and I’m also a Minority and we love Banadiiris we are banadiiris but not by tribe and we aren’t the Lightskin Mixed people. I have a lot of baraware and banadiiri freinds wallahi. And I seen one of their DNA tests. They have a lot of mixed DNA barely any Somali tbh. They have Bantu DNA, Tanzanian DNA, Omani DNa Most likely from the Omani-Tanzanian Slave trade and they got brought up to Somalia Most likely from Zanzibar. And then when they settled on the coast Because of the Omani Trade Route. The coast was visited by a lot of Persians/arabs even Portuguese. And BARAAWE people have Omani, Bantu deep in Africa like South Africa bantu 3.4%, Tanazanian Zanzibar DNA, Omani DNA, a little bit swahili kenyan because of the Zanj Omani trade and Somali DNA I’m pretty sure the Banadiiri and Baraawe were Somali people who lived on the coasts for long time Centuries. And they were the people who interacted with the Visitors from Arabia, Oman, Persia, ETC ETC and they ended up procreating with the Omanis that settled in Merka and they made their own city Baraawe and Merca. With the Omanis who mixed in with Somalis, later generations on creating a whole new race almost of Mixed Somali-Omani/Persians. But I do believe their Somali DNA is that of the Original settlers of Xamar. But the thing is Xamar is a big Metropolis City. I don’t like when 1 Tribe says it’s mine and mine only. I believe All Tribes lived there Xamar does not belong to Baraawe or Bandiri people ONLY Neither does it belong to Hawiye PEOPLE ONLY!!
