This location was my first CEC When I was very young, I still remember a lot of this location actually. Of course I have a few corrections for Michael here and for anyone wondering about it’s history. This location still had a tuxedo chuck all the way up until 2007, I remember seeing that very clearly. Another thing I wanted to point out is that, pizza cam was in this location as well. Sadly he was turned off since I never saw him come up but I do remember seeing his box next to Pasqually. Of course I didn’t visit this location again after the remodel happens in 2007 and from there they permanently had the Studio C Beta stage afterwards.
This was my local store growing up, I loved playing the games in there, and just having a good time and eating the pizza. I really miss the store. It was so much fun.
If they were open now, they would be open forever. It would’ve been a good location with the three stage if somebody could have fixed them. Besides that. Good video 👍
Another theory on why Fullerton had a 3 stage: They potentially had like a spare Rock a Fire in storage from another store (possibly Citrus Heights or another store) and then converted them to MMBB characters when they put the animatronics on stage. Also, Showbiz was opening a handful of locations in the late 80s/early 90s (Raleigh, Fort Smith, Midlothian) so the whole “Planned in development as Showbiz” definitely checks out. Also those stages were also recycled so again, they could have recycled a previous stage (like Citrus Heights)
Also, the reason why Tallahassee had a 3 stage was because it was owned by a franchisee that had several showbiz stores that just got CU, so they wanted to maintain consistency and install a 3 stage.
Tallahassee had the 3 stage because the franchise owned another location that used to be SPP in Panama City and wanted consistency between the stages at both locations he owned. I’m still not sure on why Fullerton opened with a three stage, but what you said could be true.
