You forgot to mention that TCL NXTPAPER has an antiglare matte finish and also they did something regarding light polarization although i dont know exactly what
Watching this on my Tab Ultra C 😊 Having a Garmin Instinct 2 too, I'm really excited to learn more about MIP, as there is no much info currently. I hope compagnies will overcome the current size limitations and this technology won't be put aside, as everyone seem to be big fans of OLED displays..
I wonder if you guys have any plans on releasing videos covering the Daylight Computer and its "LivePaper" transflective LCD screen, or if you know who manufactures their screens. Would be really cool if you could do a comparison with it to other eink alternatives since you guys propbly have the largest collection of epaper technology devices.
Hi, thanks for the informative video. I noticed a Huawei "papermatte" tablet last week, and it doesn't look that there's much about it at the moment, so maybe you'll look into it later. Personally, I cannot tell whether it's just a marketing name or a new technology... I guess I'll just wish for you to take a look 😊🙏
It's an LCD similar to TCL's, i.e. not anything close to eink. Their previous device, Matepad Paper (note: not "PaperMatte") did use actual eink, though.
