I think a place Seele shines a lot which a lot of people don't notice is PF. She's actually a really good sp battery, and can generate up to +2 SP per turn if you have enemies within kill range. Not to mention her ult could be good at getting rid of priority targets or getting some damage on the elite.
as someone play with ever chance quantum weakness appear you really need 90-100% crit chance with her. if you miss your crit on ult, Sparkle buff become useless, Cant proc resurgence, dmg loss. that why she like a childe for me in genshin.
Yeah very high investment . LC & high crit rate (90% to 100%) + Sparkle + Fu Xuan + Tingyun / Robin . Shame I don't have any if this . Also no she doesn't need eidolon . Nothing change much until E6

Her scream, her laugh, her cough. Seele may never come back to the story, we may never hear Molly in the game with new lines again, but at least we can always tune in to her stream to hear what a maniac she is.
Seele biggest nerf is the increase in enemies HP pool. With simple math we can see that: Before 2.0 - normal enemies have 100 HP. If Seele deal less than 100 DMG, her DPS will remain intact. Example - Seele dealt 90 DMG, mean her DPS or (DPT) Damage per Turn is 90 DMG. If she is more invested and deal 110 DMG, she activate her passive and therefore gain an extra turn, effectively double her DPT - 220 DMG per turn. Now, normal enemies have 200 HP, so you have to keep on pushing Seele limits, either by investing in her relics more, or invest a better roaster of supports, in order to match Seele's demanding buff. And if u successfully deal 200 DMG, your effective DPS will instantly turn into 400 DMG per turn. This is like a "All or Nothing" reaction. If Seele was to released in 2.x and have stronger multiplier and base stats that was on pair with the current roaster, her mechanic would outshine even the current strongest DPS namingly Acheron and Firefly. That was a reason why E2 Firefly and E2 Dan Heng IL was so strong and busted, due to the "extra turn" it give, effectively double the DPS.
Overall damage output, even though her multiplyers are low, she can go more than 6 times in a cycle with like 4 ults. She just simply isn't a dmg per screenshot character
@@Yoru... She is a powerhouse if you invested and use her right really. Sadly she won't be like those flashy new toys that just with shizzy relics they can do up to her number of DMG in a cycle (assuming Seele proc her passive).

Seele is a dps that scales the highest with good relics, which means you will notice the difference between a 70/120 seele and a 80/200 seele way more than a 50/160 jingliu and a 50/250 jingliu. The reason is that her buffs are all DMG% buffs which scales really well the better your character is
@@Yoru... and here lies her massive core problem. If your relic RNG is bad, someting you can not affect at all, her power is lackluster. Sure, you can have her deal massive damage with the right setup and god relics, but the investment and the RNG is so high, you can just build a bunch of other 5 stars characters that will perform on her level with meh relics. And if she gets a slightly better relic set, you can start over again.
Seele is my favorite designed character in the game and I always make sure to use her to clear as much as possible. Still investing in her to this day.
i love her since HI3 and i truely love the evolution of the design she gain in HSR. I do my best for her even if don't have 4 piece quantum on her (i have 2P QUA 2P ATK), i search best piece and she have realy good stat but unfortunatly i can't clear all content with her and for me like for you i think this is hard. PS: I want to have her LC when it's rerun
I wish I could use my Seele, but she requires way too much investment compared to newer units, which can deal upwards of 300k with simple artifacts and teams

I honestly believe Seele doomposting is wayyy too much. Seele I believe is the best character at high investment due to her being able to 0 cycle every single moc except for the Sunday's song squad moc.

Lets take the dubs as an example. Seele is spelt zealah in English Seele is spelt Zere in Japanese Seele is spelt ciel in Chinese However, its unknown which pronounciation is correct (to the HSR fandom)

Claiming she has the "hardest hitting single target damaging ability" is crazy and some mega cope ngl. She was doomed from the very start of the game, having to rely on one shotting an HP pool that was only ever going to increase overtime.
Idk why everyone is pandering to Jing Yuan as the most buffed character, when Seele also has had exceptional synergy with every new support that has came out, perhaps even moreso then Jing Yuan or even any other unit period. She’s probably the dps that has the most variety of teams with every single one of them being strong for different reasons as she works with basically every support (minus maybe super break stuff for obv reasons 🗿). And to those ppl that still think Mono Quantum is still her best team your opinion is invalid bcz respectfully that shit is overrated asf and I’m tired of seeing ppl think that it is somehow Seele’s best team.
Jing Yuan buff's were really impactful, everything Seele got was more of a sidegrade. His best team in 1.0 included two 4 stars because, unlike Seele, it's hard to properly buff him and he requires a lot of specific things that the buffs he received gave him.
ehhh JY didnt get that much buff tho, i would say Himeko. JY even still worse to use in Moc and PF. Himeko with super break now more decent and she great at PF
@@sct77 no it was definitely an upgrade for her. the main issue is that her upgrades just arent enough to keep her competitive with the new DPS. her best team has 4 limited 5* (silver wolf, fu xuan, sparkle, and seele herself), and out of the 3 other members of that team, one is incredibly niche (silver wolf), one is a sustain so it might not be worth pulling for her if you already have 2 good limited 5* sustains (fu xuan), and the other is a good support for a better dps (sparkle, good support for DHIL). meanwhile you have acheron and firefly who can still clear as fast as seele with worse artifacts and doesnt rely on limited 5* as much as seele does
The best aged character is Himeko tbh, back then everyone was trashing her then Pure Fiction released and she's usually the go to when it comes to clearing it.
lol yes. Most of the time there is 0 difference in cycle clears btwn E6 and E0 for seele, E4 is the only eidolon that changes anything. She has by far the worst set of eidolons of any limited 5 star

Seele was my first limited character I saved and pre farmed for. I still use her to this day, albeit a little less since I got more units, but she's still fun to use. Never going to stop liking her.
No matter how powerful the meta characters every next version, my bestie(Seele) will always be in my heart. I even use her till this day because I was bored of every 5* character I have such as Jingliu, Blade. Ngl both of em are good but they're not like Seele, who can move more than once due to her talent. That caught my attention to her(sry for long type and prob offended yall). Also no sparkle because I still like BronSeele combo❤
I know this is absolutely niche but I really like Jade E1 x Seele. you need a huge amount of investment yes but it's such a fun comp. Also, I've never given up on Seele, she's still my main and I keep using her to this day

@@glu7019it’s prob bc the massive spd buffs she gets within her kit, but more specifically being the e1 + e2 allowing her to spam atks after breaking or killing with an extra turn, but without the need to spend sp which makes it quite broken
higher numbers isn't everything, Seele has much higher flexibility and her damage isn't locked behind break. You can pretty much do 0 cycles to this day with Seele and she's still the only hunt capable of carrying a Perfect Pure Fiction.
dmg per screenshot doesn’t equal better, Seele can attack up to 6 times per cycle with resurgence and her own speed buff. pair that with action advance characters and she performs better than boothill
I mean they aren't really wrong. Selee have higher Flexibility, but Boothill's team is cheaper, hit just as hard, easier to build, require less investment overall. "Boothill's damage is locked behind break"-No shit he's a break dps lmao, Black Swan&Kafka's Damage is locked behind DoTs

She is like the Jack of all trades but master of none type of character which is really nice. She is universal and i think that alone makes her worth sky rocket.
I've got some similar stats in terms of spd and atk. Otherwise E0S1 3388 atk 133 spd 78.9 CR 184 CD UID: 700442995 Which achieves 160 spd after skill for 6 stacks on her LC 100% CR with FuXuan & Sparkle (with signature) Seeleland leaderboard considers it top 25ish of 29k comparative e0s1
Her high investment is not even really in terms of relics. Its more interms of how u use her. Seele has the high skill celing un the game so the better u are with usung her kit, the better she is gonna perform.
Dhil has a higher single target dmg on his enhanced attack with 500%, yes its blast but the 500 is for the single target still, drawback being it costs 3 ability points
Seele definitely remains a solid character, however I wouldn't say she is "aging well" as the level of investment she requires is increasing exponentially due to the game's powercree
Man, I really want to see someone upload a meta dps lineup showcase from 1.0 to 2.3 (or further) just so we can witness how the meta gradually change and to see how hoyoverse changed the idea of how to deal damage back then vs now. Really hope to see one someday.
I thought Resurgence was a follow up attack for an embarassingly long time... I would regularly run Elation Seele in SimU. Still use her for non FuA reasons nowadays, she and Xueyi share the Quantum workload.

A funny thing for me is that I have both Qingque and Seele, and from experience I find using Qingque (Erudition) more suitable against bosses and single target and Seele (The Hunt) for minions.

My Seele hits atleas 200k ult she was my main until 2.1 When I got Acheron she jist replaced her aoe in general is just good in hsr and Acheron is just crazy good even in low Investment
I know people dont like using 0 cycles as a metric for meta, however the Hunt archetype is literally the best at it imo. Seele and Ratio are the best at 0 cycles especially when it comes to low gold cost. Seele has the lowest gold cost 0 cycle against sam and aventurine moc 12. Ratio and seele has a 4 gold cost 0 cycle against Aventurine moc 12 while using a 4 star fucking sustain; they both also have a 2 gold cost against aventurine using no sustain which is on par to meta units like firefly, boothill, acheron, etc. Firefly, boothill, and acheron dont have a 0 cycle against aventurine using a sustain at 4 or less gold cost; majority that Ive seen were sustainless. If we talk about endgame meta like 0 cycles or low cycling, then Hunt is literally the best at it especially at low eidolons and without signature lightcones. However, when it comes to the casuals, then yea Hunt is just hard ass to use, and thats why so many people shit on them.
Yeah for near day 1 players who have heavily invested into her she is still good. I literally have enough quantum gear to fully set up 6+ characters. Even my Acheron uses quantum. But I would probably not recommend any newer player to pull for her unless you are a big fan and planning to invest into her for atleast 4-6 months and willing to pull meta support units with E1 and S1. If all of these apply to you then you are gonna have a helluva time with her where you can brute force any content with her. But if you like autoplay and just want to plug in the best dps out there then she isn't what you are looking for.

Old characters just becomes less interesting, that’s just how it is. Only the hardcore fans would stand by their favourites. I myself have been a hardcore Luocha simp since the day he released, until now in 2.4 I’ve finally given him a break in placement of Huohuo when I spotted that he was now letting my Kafka team down more often than not since the enemy bosses hits harder and his auto-heal just doesn’t come fast enough. (The field still works, but if the enemy moves faster than your own unit, you’re toast. Not to mention, his heal is single-target and he doesn’t provide any other buffs than heals). Again, all of these units are viable. You just have to really try with them if you want them on your team. If you don’t want to stress out about trying to keep your old characters, It’s fine to pick up the new ones. I think that’s also why players become excited for the story, to see their old characters again and hope they get a new, cooler form. I would surely pick up and play Luocha again even if I had to raise him all over from the beginning and he was, idk a destruction unit. I truly hope we’ll revisit places like Belobog and Herta Space Station to get more of the same character, in story and forms. Only Hi3 has been doing this so far, trying to add more battlesuits to old characters while releasing new ones, but as far as I’m aware, Genshin has yet to have alternate forms, so I’m hoping HSR follows Hi3’s format.
Ngl i think that if your team dies with Luocha youre the problem, his healing is more than enough, his main problem is not having offensive support like Huohuo and his buff removal being very situational Just make him faster

The biggest nerf every dps currently is the existence of Archeon. She power creeps everyone. Why use these dps characters when Archeon can one shot it.
The best upgrade for my Seele wpuld be to finally get a decent relic set for her which despite getting her day 1 and farming on and off for it whenever I'm not building other characters I still don't have
They said I was crazy for running full speed E2 seele as xueyi support. To that i say: how often does your xueyi get to swing without any speed investment … still not saying it’s good but it’s funny
For players who like to do fast clears (0 cycle) Seele has been the most consistent & strongest 0 cycler since release, specially for non whales as she also often has the lowest 5 star count 0 cycle clears. Additionally Seele is often the fastest PF clearer (which is once again not preferred by players who would rather use herta/himeko/jade/argenti which is a no prep full point clear) Nonetheless the majority of player base doesn’t care for this kind of clear and would rather use characters that have a fixed team that will always clear in a reasonable cycle count while giving high dmg per screenshot. The “decline” of Seele is just a matter of player bias and preference and not in any way linked to her actual performance related to other characters.
Finally ! A player with a brain !! Many people are just brain rotted with the high dmg per screenshot. They dont think how much a unit moves within a cycle nor do they look at proper 0 cycles. She is definitely by far the best dps in the game if u know how to play her
well, QQ is still pulls it off alongside other 5*. You can brag about her randomness, but it suffices to have one good run to show off her damage. And it's huge. And it's not like we cannot run MOC 3-4 times to catch the moment
Selee acheron Jingliu Been doing all content with those 3 Selee excels in all 3 endgames Pf? Selee with wind set MOC? Monoquantum or 0cycle with robin and hanabi AS? Monoquantum auto She can clear all content with ease, 5he difference is you actually need to think more when using her Consistely hitting 400-650k with her ult on MoC at e0s1 Shes the most fun character to play and im so happy shes my main since her talent is future proof (they had to put it on e2 for IL and Firefly) and having access to the best dps set too Overall, just needs much more investment but shes totally worth it
@@niigolover I use her with 88/160 for PF ,around 74/234 when Monoquantum auto and 85/220 when doing 0 cycle Since Hanabi is always with her, her LC gives Selee 10 Cr and 28 crit DMG

Can we talk about the character that unbalanced the meta Acheron, how can I go from liking a character to hating it which is probably her dmg out it was too much but despite others will say there’s no such thing as too much dmg but the upcoming enemies thanks to Acheron will get an insane health buff which it doesn’t fit for a nihility character to have high dmg numbers it will cause upcoming nihility characters kit to get intentionally reduced due to Acheron dmg output
Ngl seeing this video makes me want to use her again since I just stopped using her since I didn't have Sparkle or Fu Xuan, and her damage was really low at most. I hit at least 40k The dilemma of "I told you so" perfectly describes the Star Rail community, and honestly, it gets really annoyed.
