Morrigan was my introduction to the succubus monster and it quickly became my favorite. I main Morrigan in any game she appears in and still have a great time with her. I Love the Darkstalkers franchise and have collected the games, anime, comics, figures, and art books. Thanks for this fun vid.

@Audrion Irks Fan girl, thank you; and it’s fun. The Darkstalkers franchise helped me develop my drawing style and I won my first college Halloween costume contest cosplaying as Hsien-ko. I’m part of the Blerd, gaming, and comic book communities which I enjoy with my friends. I have fun.

The gaming world needs a Morrigan video game! She's one of the few fighting game characters who are popukar enough to pull such a feat. Something that plays similar to Devil May Cry & Bayonetta. In fact, the latter is probably the ever got to a game starring our favorite succubus. 🙂👍

It's still important to note in darkstalkers lore succubus only kiss you because they apparently evolved and even though she's called a succubus she's practically a vampire attracted to fighting. Has shown in teppen.

I was 10 when I walked inside a store and they had a mvc1 arcade machine. I instantly fell in love with Morrigan. She awakened something in me, lmao. Fr tho, I just like her design. She along with Mai Shiranui and Samus Aran and are favorite video game female characters. Hope we get another dark stalkers because I never played them, but they look fun and I like the "dark" feel it has to it.

Fantastic video, and I would definitely love to see more Darkstalkers deep dives. Felicia and Hsien-Ko/Lei-Lei seem like the best ones, but all are fantastic characters that prove fighters have more depth than they are given credit for!

I remember growing up that i liked Morgan's fighting style, but i didn’t like her character design. Probably because i liked cuter styled characters like Felicia and Hsien-ko, so when i unlocked Lilith she immediately became my main for the darkstalker's series.

And maybe talk about the 2 Japanese Exclusive Darkstalkers games (Vampire Hunter 2) and (Vampire Savior 2) I Love your videos Tophat talking about the history of Capcom games. One of my Favorite Capcom Fighting games besides Street Fighter 3rd Strike is The Darkstalkers Series. It's been 24 years since Vampire Savior (Darkstalkers 3) I wish to see more Darkstalkers games in the future. And yet Felicia is STILL sexy as hell, despite being the cute one. I started with Morrigan in the arcade version of the first Vampire/Darkstalkers, and then had an easier time when I went to Morrigan & Felicia in the Saturn port of Vampire Hunter/Night Warriors. (Never did get my mitts on the PSone version of Darkstalkers; I think that both the US & Japanese PSone versions cut out the original arcade intro in favor of some other nonsense.) Morrigan ultimately became my main in Vampire Savior/Darkstalkers 3...with Lilith & Felicia as fun backups. (Maaaaaaaaaaaan, if only the button sequences during Lilith's Gloomy Puppet Show weren't so random and such a pain in the nuts...)
