Palm Beach Atlantic University was founded in 1968 by a group of West Palm Beach, Florida residents who felt called to create an oasis of Christian learning amid the increasingly troubled and turbulent '60s. "Make Do U." opened its doors with less than 100 students. Since then, PBA has grown into one of the nation's premier universities continuing to offer a truly Christ-centered education. Today, PBA has more 3,000 students, 400 plus faculty and staff members and offers more than 50 undergraduate majors, several graduate degrees and a doctorate in pharmacy. The university occupies 27-acre campus on the water in downtown West Palm Beach, has satellite campuses in Wellington, Fla. and Orlando, Fla., and is in the process of developing a 75-acre athletic campus.
