Fun fact: At one point during the 1985 Geneva Summit, Reagan asked to Gorbachev if the Soviet Union would help if the U.S. was invaded by aliens from space. Gorbachev said yes, and that Reagan said, "we would too".
@@CitizenOfEmpire Most of the countries managed to send their people into space thanks to USA / Russia. The only one that send them by themselves were Britain, China and France as far as i know. And no, ESA missions doesn't count, because it's international organisation.

Hello Qarol Mapping, I would like to ask you that if you can make a video about the history of Cambodia. Because I'm from Cambodia and the children like to watch the historical mapping videos when they lived in the future and trying to know about old history. I like your video and my children too.
Really good video! I liked it. But one thing triggered me a bit, please don't put soviet songs like in beginning. I understand this, due a topic of video, cause of american-soviet rivalry, but still it's like puting nazi songs because video has nazis at beginning for example
It's quite depressing that this video wrapped up too soon. You wish there's still more but it's the actuality of what we humans achieved so far. It felt like it ended in the beginning of our interstellar exploration. Of something bigger. One we probably wouldn't see anytime soon.
“For All Mankind” answers that “what-if,” except it’s the Soviets that landed on the Moon before the US, resulting in a different - and longer - Space Race.
